The killing of Apple executive Vivek Tiwari in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh by the cops has created a storm in the state. The vultures of the media have descended upon the state and are doing everything possible to create a ruckus for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh. The baseless killing of Vivek Tiwari in police firing is indeed a shameful incident which needs to be condemned and the guilty needs to be published without doubts. The problem is that the leftist media and the rest of the leftist cabal is trying to pin the blame of the incident on CM Yogi and team when clearly the fault lies with the police personnel. CM Yogi has already met with the family of the deceased and has ordered enquiry into the matter, assuring that the guilty will be punished at all costs. The prompt action by the Uttar Pradesh CM instead of being lauded is once again being used by the leftist cabal to pin the blame on him.
Vulture politics is being carried out in the state over the life of the deceased Apple executive, the probable benefactors lost no time in extracting as much political mileage as possible from the incident. The guilty cops have been already suspended and the state government has announced Rs 25 lakhs as compensation for the wife and children of the deceased while a separate Rs 5 lakh compensation has also been given to the elderly mother of the Apple executive. The wife of late Vivek Tiwari after meeting CM Yogi for 25 minutes said, “He heard what I had to say and assured help. I am in no shape to take any strong stand…I had said that I have faith in our state government… today that faith has strengthened. All my demands have been met. I wanted strict action against the guilty, a job, accommodation, expenses for education of my daughters and my mother-in-law. The Chief Minister acceded to all my demands.”
Even these statements coming from the deceased’s wife are not enough to dissuade the political benefactors who are looking to extract political mileage out of this incident. The fact is that in states like West Bengal and Kerala where state government sponsored vandalism and political killings are carried out everyday receive far less attention than this act done in Uttar Pradesh. No actions are taken against police personnel in states like West Bengal and Kerala for assisting parties like CPI and TMC in unleashing terror on their residents. CM Yogi is being pinned for the faults of a couple of policemen because he is the right target, the arrest and sacking of the constable and his colleague is not a satisfactory measure as per the left cabal. AAP leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal too tried to steal some limelight for himself, post the incident he tweeted a reprehensible statement for which he was criticized by even the widow of the deceased.

The death of Vivek Tiwari is being used to malign the state government for the encounters it has carried out in the recent times against criminals. The truth of the matter is that in the 1500+ encounters carried out by the UP police on directions of CM Yogi there is yet to be a verifiable proof that even one of them targeted an innocent civilian. The actions of the state government and administration had caused havoc amongst the criminals, the earlier governments in the state which bred and provided protection to the criminal elements are seeing this as an opportunity to safeguard their men. Opportunists like Arvind Kejriwal too have jumped in the fray to gain some political mileage at the cost of this unfortunate event. It is important for the UP government to penalise the guilty cops and to punish them according to the law but this incident has shown the opportunist politics of the opposition in the country which is despicable to say the least.
