Seven times when Rahul Gandhi embarrassed himself and maligned the country during his recent trip

It is not unusual for the Congress President Rahul Gandhi to embarrass himself. Earlier he used to do it in India only and now he has started doing it globally. In his latest sojourn, Rahul Gandhi made many foolish, illogical and outrageous statements that only caused embarrassment for the entire nation but his cheerleaders in India strongly believe that Rahul Gandhi’s speech has proven that he is a perfect candidate of PM.

Rahul Gandhi has a habit of getting factually creative during his speeches. His speeches in Germany and England gave rise to so many controversies and also showed his lack of knowledge with respect to domestic affairs and international affairs, and immense lack of common sense and logic. Let us analyze his speech and find out the top 7 blunders he committed during his latest trip:

1- Timing: The timing of his trip raises a very serious question. In recent times, it has been seen Rahul Gandhi is making so many foreign visits and his foreign visits have a domestic agenda. In foreign, he says such things which can generate headline in India. He makes all sorts of vague accusations against the incumbent BJP government and PM but all this go in vain. However, this time, timing of his visit was very insensitive. Several parts of the country are flood-ravaged especially Kerala. At a time, when being the president of the second largest party required to behave like a mature opposition and should have helped the central government in relief works, he is busy in bashing the ruling government in foreign countries. It shows his immaturity and insensitive attitude towards his compatriots.

2- Unemployment created ISIS: He equated unemployment with terrorism. Even the terrorist would not agree with such absurdly bizarre reasoning. He said that lack of jobs led to the creation of ISIS. Gandhi scion, citing the example of ISIS, said “If you don’t give people a vision in the 21st century, somebody else will give them one and that is the real risk of excluding a large number of people from the development process. Every country faces this risk, if you don’t embrace people, if you don’t give people a vision, somebody else is going to do it and that vision may not be good for you or good for the world.” After reading this if anyone thinks that Rahul Gandhi has a soft corner for the ISIS then Gandhi scion is the only person who is to be blamed for this. His statement clearly shows his lack of knowledge. Terror attacks happened even before ISIS came to existence with its own unique way of job creation. 9/11 is an example of this. Most of the terrorists in the world are not poor; they come from well to do families and are very rich. For example- Osama Bin Laden came from a wealthy Saudi family. Those Muslims youths, who are joining ISIS from various parts of the world, come from prosperous families and they are very much educated and capable enough to earn more than required to lead a prosperous and happy life.

For more details: From Muslim appeasement to ISIS apologist, Rahul Gandhi is ‘evolving’

3- Indians are inherently misogynists: He continued his flow of pearls of wisdom and this time ended up portraying Indian males as inherently misogynist. The Congress President said, “There is a huge amount of violence against women in India. India needs to change the way the Indian men view Indian women. Men have to start viewing women as an equal and with respect. I am sorry to say that men do not.” If, Rahul Gandhi is so much concerned about the women of India then he should provide security, safety and Justice to the women of his own party. In recent times, various cases of sexual harassments by Congress leaders and workers have surfaced but Rahul Gandhi maintained stoic silence on such cases let alone taking strong action against the perpetrators. Recently, a former female Congress IT cell employee filed a complaint against Chirag Patnaik. Chirag Patnaik, a member of the Congress IT cell, had been accused of making sexual advancesand demanding sexual favours from his female colleague.  The woman had accused Congress President Rahul Gandhi of not taking any action against the accused even after she complained in written to him prior to approaching the police. She even blamed the IT cell head, Divya Spandana, for not coming to her rescue after being informed of the highly inappropriate conduct of Chirag Patnaik towards her.

There is no word strong enough to describe the sad state of affairs at a national political party which ignores the brazen harassment of women. Rahul Gandhi, before tarnishing the image of the country in international forums, should work towards ensuring the safety and security of women in the Congress party.

For more details: Rahul Gandhi maligns India internationally, keeps mum on cases of sexual harassment in Congress

4- Congress had nothing to do with anti-Sikh riots: Gandhi scion also denied any involvement of Congress in 1984 anti-Sikh riots. In London, when someone asked Rahul Gandhi: “When we speak about 1984, we speak about the criminal involvement of the Congress party in over 3000 murders in Delhi alone over which there’s been no move to deliver justice since then.” To this Gandhi scion replied by saying anti-Sikh riots a “tragedy” and a “painful experience” and further replied, “You say the Congress party was involved. I don’t agree with that.”

This statement of Rahul Gandhi is a complete lie. Some senior Congress leader with all enthusiasm participated in violence against the Sikhs and provoked people to carry out violence against the Sikhs. Rahul himself accepted this in an interview with Arnab Goswami in 2014.

Here is the exchange between Rahul Gandhi and Arnab Goswami from 2014:

Arnab Goswami: Would you apologise for the 1984 riots? Were Congressmen involved?

Rahul Gandhi: Some Congressmen probably were involved.

Now Rahul Gandhi wants us to believe that No One Killed the Sikhs! #RahulLiesOn1984 pic.twitter.com/ZSfqc60zUp

— BJP (@BJP4India) August 27, 2018

Speaking to Republic TV Akali Dal President and former Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal exposed the lies of the Congress President. He said, “Ask any Congress leader from Punjab and even they will say that Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar had their role in the killings. Ask anyone from within India or the world, from an eight-year-old kid to a 90-year-old, they will tell the 1984 killings were done by Congress and its leaders. The comments by Rahul Gandhi have added salt to the wound. This is their thinking towards the Sikh community. They don’t care.”

Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal also lambasted Rahul Gandhi:

.@RahulGandhi denial won't wash off the blood of innocents from your family's hands. @INCIndia and your family is responsible for the carnage of thousands of Sikhs and its a fact known to the world. This explains why Sikhs have been denied justice for 34 years. https://t.co/WpA4qJifgy

— Harsimrat Kaur Badal (@HarsimratBadal_) August 25, 2018

Rather it's time you forgot your wretched lineage as the "Gandhi" in your name is synonymous with the massacre of Sikhs, desecration of the Golden Temple, demolition of Akal Takht Sahib & unforgivable sacrilege of thousands of Guru Granth Sahibs. @RahulGandhi

— Harsimrat Kaur Badal (@HarsimratBadal_) August 25, 2018

I say today with R.Gandhi's brain, that I'm putting in place of my brain. If as per him Sikh Massacare never took place then as per me his father&grandmother were never assasinated, they died of normal heart attack: Union Min HK Badal on R.Gandhi's statemenet on 1984 riots, y'day pic.twitter.com/arhpqZxUOh

— ANI (@ANI) August 25, 2018

5- Doklam issue: His stand on Doklam issue was a perfect example of knowing nothing but speaking on everything. When asked about how he would have handled the situation at Doklam differently, Gandhi scion declined to comment by saying that he had “no details.” He said, “I don’t have the details of Doklam so I can’t answer how I would have handled it differently.” Even after claiming that he had no details, Rahul Gandhi went to the extent of claiming just opposite of India’s official position. He said, “Chinese troops are still in Doklam and have built massive infrastructure there. The Prime Minister went recently to China and didn’t discuss Doklam with them. The Prime Minister went there without agenda. Somebody comes here, slaps you on your face and you have a non-agenda discussion.”

Streaming now: India’s opposition leader @RahulGandhi gives first major foreign policy address as president of @INCIndia. https://t.co/D7RbI920kl #RahulGandhiInLondon

— IISS News (@IISS_org) August 24, 2018

Rahul Gandhi is a part of the parliamentary standing committee on external affairs on Doklam issue. Officials in great detail explained about Doklam crisis to the parliamentary committee. But, it seems like Rahul Gandhi was not satisfied, he wanted to know more about Doklam issue and went to meet Chinese Ambassador Luo Zhaohui. He defended his movie by saying, “it’s his job to be informed on critical issues”.

It is my job to be informed on critical issues. I met the Chinese Ambassador, Ex-NSA, Congress leaders from NE & the Bhutanese Ambassador

— Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) July 10, 2017

He had also met Bhutanese Ambassador Major General Vetsop Namgyel to discuss the Doklam crisis. Therefore, it looks like Rahul Gandhi lied when he said that he had no details about Doklam issue.

6- Equating RSS with Muslim Brotherhood: He also equated RSS with Muslim brotherhood despite the fact that it was the Congress led-UPA government that had in 2013 hosted a key leader of Muslim Brotherhood- Mohammed Morsi. Muslim Brotherhood is a declared terrorist organization in many countries. On the other hand, RSS is worldwide known for its social-service and giving quality leaders to the country like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and PM Modi. Now, it looks Rahul Gandhi neither knows anything about RSS nor about Muslim Brotherhood. His statement reveals his ignorance about both the organizations. There are so many things about which Rahul Gandhi is completely unaware.

7– Quality of debate in the Parliament: Rahul Gandhi raised question over the quality of debate in the parliament. He said, “Have you noticed the level of debate in the Indian Parliament? Are you proud of it? Why is it of such low quality?” Ironically Rahul Gandhi’s own behavior in the parliament has been subjected to criticism, several times. Very recently during no-confidence motion debate, his hug and wink act attracted lots of criticism. His attendance in 2018 Monsoon session was just 41%. Overall, his record as a parliamentarian is very poor.

In London @RahulGandhi deplored the quality of debate in Parliament, said MPs were not empowered, etc. Really? As MP he's member of Committee on External Affairs. Yet he knows nothing of #Doklam on which there was a series of briefings. Here is his record as MP from Amethi, UP: pic.twitter.com/hEP9RFMR1j

— Kanchan Gupta (Hindu Bengali Refugee)🇮🇳 (@KanchanGupta) August 25, 2018

So, before insulting the other hard-working Indian MPs in foreign land, Rahul Gandhi should look in the mirror. As far as quality of debate of Rahul Gandhi is concerned, whenever he opens his mouth, he ends up providing jokes and memes material to social media users. This entire episode proves that he has no qualities to become Prime Minister of India. He can only bring embarrassment to the country.
