Security and peace & harmony in the country are two things which should never be tampered with. Maoist forces operating inside the country have committed this crime for far too long with the support of their urban Naxal brethren during the 60 long years of Congress rule. They receive political and financial help from the Leftist parties and their leaders too. This enables them to carry out their nefarious activities in the country without too many restrictions being imposed on them. All this changed after the BJP came to power in 2014. The clampdown on these Maoists and both urban and ground level Naxals began at an increased rate. Beaten and frustrated, these forces were anxious to find new partners for giving them the shielding necessary to continue their terrorist activities inside India. Maoists, who were already facing pressure from shrinking ties with their foreign terror network funders operating from Bangladesh, Pakistan and other countries, seem to have now found new homegrown allies.
Times Now have gotten hold of a letter which is written by a senior Maoist to one of his comrades in early January, the contents of which are shocking, to say the least. The letter mentions many ‘intellectuals‘ and many Urban Naxals who provide support to the Maoist network. The most shocking part though is the one where the Maoist mentions that Congress party is ready to provide support to the planned Dalit movements through Jignesh Mevani. Jignesh Mevani is a member of the Legislative Assembly from Gujarat and has often indulged in Dalit movements. His mention in the letter throws light on how the Dalit protests and violence which occured in Bhima-Koregaon in Maharashtra went on for so long. In what was a planned attempt to create unrest in the state and country which was supported by the Congress through Jignesh Mevani, it is important to know that Congress and Aam Aadmi Party had supported Jignesh Mevani by not fielding their candidates in his constituency in the Gujarat Assembly elections.
The letter which Times Now got hold of clearly mentions that the Congress party is going to fund the planned Dalit movement throughout India using Jignesh Mevani as an intermediary. The letter also hints towards the necessity of organizing nationwide rallies and protests in the country in the coming days. This could be a solid explanation for the Dalit protests which caused widespread violence and loss of property, especially in all BJP ruled states in April this year. The Maoist forces misused the Dalit sentiments to cause disruption and unrest in society. They received funds for organizing these anti-India and anti-government protests by the Congress through MLA Jignesh Mevani, if the letter is to be believed. The Congress should be reprimanded for such a blatantly seditious act, and MLA Jignesh Mevani, who is already facing multiple accusations of being involved with anti-India forces such as SDPI and PFI, should be booked for this act as well.

There is no place for Naxals and Maoist terrorists in any democratic country, let alone the largest democracy in the world. The letter explains how the people were misused by the Maoists to create a controversy in the year leading up to the General Elections scheduled for 2019. The letter is also a testament to prove how the Congress has fostered the naxals and has kept on supporting them tacitly to suit their agenda. MLA Jignesh Mevani is just a spoke in the wheel of Congress-Maoist nexus, as many more names will be uncovered once the case is actively pursued by the investigation agencies.
