Most of you must be aware of a fabled Congressman called Shri Digvijay Singh. Digvijay Singh is a veteran Congressman and arguably the most famous Congress spokesperson in the Pre-Modi era. Digivijay’s diatribes are quoted as copybook cases of verbal diarrhea till date and his obsession with RSS was legendary. Digvijay Singh suffered from chronic RSS phobia and he blamed the RSS for everything that was wrong. From releasing a book about the alleged involvement of RSS in 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks to checking RSS’ registration papers to calling Arvind Kejriwal a RSS agent, Digvijay Singh’s hatred for RSS knew no bounds. Then 2014 happened and Digvijay Singh quietly faded into oblivion. Looks like Digvijay Singh’s RSS phobia virus has found a new host in Rahul Gandhi.
Yes! Rahul Gandhi seems to be suffering from the RSS phobia. Rahul Gandhi has been unnecessarily targeting the RSS constantly, dragging the organization into every issue of the day. A day after the unfortunate death of 11 people in the police firing at an anti-Sterlite protest in Tuticorin district of Chennai, Congress President Rahul Gandhi decided to play cheap politics over this unfortunate incident. He used this incident to attack RSS and PM Modi. He claimed that protestors were killed for not following RSS ideology which is a blatant lie perpetrated by Rahul Gandhi against RSS. It’s sad that innocent people lost their lives and Rahul Gandhi is indulging in political vulturism.

Nothing he says is backed up by evidence, but it is as if he can see something others cannot, that RSS’ hand is behind everything that is wrong with the country today. He is paranoid about RSS. BJP doesn’t even have a single MLA in Tamil Nadu assembly. Rahul Gandhi is dreaming of becoming PM and he doesn’t even know that law and order is state subject. Or for that matter is he trying to shield ruling party of Tamil Nadu AIADMK by blaming the RSS? In fact, it is his UPA government and both the two main parties of Tamil Nadu, DMK and AIADMK which are responsible for the ongoing mess. In 2007, Manmohan Singh led UPA government approved Sterlite’s expansion plan against which now there is a huge protest in the state and few precious lives have been lost. To make the matter worse for the Congress their senior leader P. Chidambaram also served as non-executive director before he became the finance minister in 2004.
Rahul Gandhi who was quick to blame the 9 deaths on RSS and BJP remained silent about political violence in West Bengal. In fact, yesterday he shared the stage with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee who gave free hands to her TMC goons to perpetuate violence in Bengal Panchayati Polls.
One day he might also hold the Sangh responsible for 9/11, global warming, terrorist attacks in Europe, AB Devilliers’ retirement, the horrible performance of Delhi Daredevils in IPL and many other things which makes sense only to Rahul Gandhi. Apparently, he sees RSS in his dreams too. He even blamed the RSS for a change in the education policy.

He even politicized a suggestion to ameliorate civil services and dragged RSS into that matter as well. Rahul Gandhi’s unhealthy obsession with the RSS is increasing day by day. Earlier when he had accused RSS is behind Mahatma Gandhi’s killing, the apex court had asked him to apologize for his remarks or face trial in defamation case.
BJP was quick to respond to Rahul Gandhi’s baseless and senseless allegations. BJP mocked him by saying Sangh made Rahul Gandhi Congress president. On the other hand, Sangh has taken the matter seriously and issued an statement deriding Rahul Gandhi for his irresponsible remarks against the organization whose sole purpose is to serve the country which it had been doing with remarkable dedication over the years despite periodic obstructions thrown its way by the Nehru-Gandhi family and constant senseless attacks by the ‘liberal-secular- brigade’ working on behalf of the Congress party.
