There can be countless narratives of a particular event which takes place. It is said that “beauty lies in the eye of the beholder”, and it is probably right, unless it is being used for justifying wrong deeds by an individual or a group. Left winger columnists and websites like The Quint, have countless times changed their narrative in order to suit their propaganda. Now look at the words The Quint used to describe a terrorist – Mohammed Rafi Bhat was a humble, soft-spoken scholar. How pretty right? These are the kind of adjectives that proud parents use for their sons on their matrimonial profiles.
The Quint, founded by Raghav Bahl is one of India’s leftist boutique media portals. The Quint has again indulged in pro-terrorist behaviour, from trying to defend Osama Bin Laden, projecting him as a family man, to the most recent article and the subsequent tweet by Raghav Bahl over the death of professor turned terrorist Mohammed Rafi Bhat in Kashmir. The Quint and its contributors have been trying to justify the evil acts of terrorists, probably to gain prominence in the secular world. The Quint is a shining example of how an anti-establishment work can be carried out under the garb of journalism.
The Quint had earlier faced the wrath of Indian officials and public when a story concerning Kulbhushan Jadhav had been published. The story claimed that Kulbhushan Jadhav was an Indian RAW spy working in Pakistan. This piece was used by Pakistani government in solidifying their case against an innocent Naval Officer Kulbhushan Jadhav who is trapped in Pakistan. The baseless piece had to be retracted after RAW officials severely negated any links with Kulbhushan Jadhav. The Quint managed to irk the Indian government and the public. The situation became so bad that The Quint had to retract the story from their website after facing severe condemnation from the masses.
Another piece from The Quint which was globally derided was the one which tried to portray dreaded terrorist Osama Bin Laden in human light. The attempt of The Quint to justify Osama’s actions was severely criticized by every knowledgeable individual around the globe. A similar attempt has been made to humanize the terrorists killed in Kashmir on Sunday.

Kashmir has been a hotbed for terrorism and insurgency related activities in the past few decades. Time and again it has been proven how education cannot curb the Jihadi mindset of the terrorists. From architect turned terrorist Osama to professor turned terrorist Mohammad Rafi Bhat, The Quint has tried their level best to change the narrative in order to suit their agenda by using new media platforms.
Raghav Bahl the point is simple, Rafi Bhat was an anti-India terrorist who had joined a terrorist group in order to harm Indian interests but The Quint will sadly never accept that. It will try to manipulate the narrative as it always has in the past; in fact The Quint takes pride in being anti-Indian and anti-establishment. Raghav Bahl used his Twitter account to justify Rafi Bhat’s joining the millitants.

The Indian government should take cognizance of The Quint and its counterparts and take strict action on them. Their method of dividing attention of the public by their false propaganda driven journalism should be severely condemned by the masses too. Indian public should become aware of the real motive of the so called free press and pseudo-secular journalists. If left unchecked The Quint could engage in glorification of terrorist like Rafi Bhat and Osama in the future too. A strict warning to Raghav Bahl and his entire team should definitely be issued by the Indian government immediately. Fake news and manipulative news reporting has been going on unchecked for a long time in India. The left wing and its cabal are primarily the leading source of news like these and they should be severely reprimanded as soon as possible. Indian public too should join eminent people who have opened attack on Raghav Bahl for his agenda driven news and tweets.
