With Mamata Banerjee’s support, BJP might win West Bengal soon

‘We need a grand alliance to oust BJP from India’
‘Modi ji doesn’t need our support for the presidential elections’
‘Like with Britishers, we should create another Quit India movement. BJP must quit India!’

In case you’re thinking that the dormant volcano named Arvind Kejriwal is back in action, don’t pin so much hope dear. It’s not Kejriwal, but the voice of women empowerment in Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, unofficially the patron of Islamic anarchy in the state of West Bengal, who is that desperate to remove Narendra Modi from power, despite having regained power in West Bengal with a thumping majority.

Why is this desperation writ so large on her face? What’s ailing her? What is making her face go cold with fear?

The answer is simply, a silent, but humongous rise in the clout of Bharatiya Janata Party with respect to Bengal politics.

In a state, that had to choose between the devil and the deep sea, i.e. between pseudo secularism and Red Salute, BJP, apparently the leading voice of nationalism in India, is slowly gaining the ground in West Bengal, where only 5 years ago, even talking of winning a seat in the assembly would be considered a joke.  Now even though it is the fourth largest party in the state as of now, BJP is certainly the next big thing in the Bengali politics, which is giving jitters for sure to Mamata Begum.

Since Left and the Congress, despite their seats, are in a self destructing mode, BJP is the only party left with an audacity to oppose the ruling faction of Trinamool Congress, slowly grooming itself as an autocratic despot, turning a blind eye to the menace of Islamic imperialism looming large in the state. From Malda to Dhulagarh to Basirhat, the havoc that these Islamic goons are wreaking upon thousands of hapless, innocent Hindus, under the royal patronage of Mamata Banerjee, is something that will make even the hardest of dictators look innocent as a baby.

Just to make sure that BJP doesn’t reign supreme in the once cultural capital of India, Mamata Banerjee is willing to make alliances with even the devil for that case.

For anything bad that happens to her state, Modi and BJP is responsible. I never thought Modi will have such obsessive lovers like Mamata Banerjee and Kejriwal, who are willing to burn down their own empires, just to catch one attention of their beloved, the ‘pradhan sevak’ of more than 1.3 billion Indians.

Jokes apart, shifting goalposts is as easy for Mamata Banerjee as eating a pie. From Saradha chit fund scams, where millions of lower middle class Bengalis lost their life’s savings to power hungry politicians, to Narada fund scam, which involves many members of the Bengal government’s top brass, and many more in kitty, Mamata Banerjee is that rare specimen who shamelessly lies with a straight face on the cards. Oh wait, we have some competition in Kerala’s Pinarayi Vijayan too, but that is for one day.

Even though she has no threat as of now from BJP, courtesy a thumping majority in the assembly elections the previous year, the desperation of staying in power indicates that everything isn’t hunky dory within the Bengal government. When a commanding unit of Indian Army decided to conduct a mock drill for administrative purposes near Vidyasagar Setu, courtesy rumors of Bangladeshi smugglers attempting to rake back hoards of illegal money to their nation, the atrocious video of Mamata Banerjee screaming in desperation and abusing Narendra Modi led NDA government is a proof of how low can Mamata stoop, just to please her vote bank. This video would put even the antics of Arvind Kejriwal to shame:-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-VrHb04fHI

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to us, for she is the very CM who termed the brutal rape of Suzette Jordan by some spoilt brats, including a Bangladeshi origin gangster, as a political conspiracy. When the investigations proved otherwise, she transferred the cop, Damayanti Sen, who had almost cracked the entire case, to a lowly post in the backwaters of Bengal. So it’s laughable when she accuses BJP of fascism, when her own police acts like the agents of a despotic dictator, stamping FIRs on random folks at will, while completely ignoring the actual criminals on large.

But obsession, no matter how great it is, hasn’t ever brought positive results, as far as my nascent memory goes. This obsession with Modi that is practiced by Mamata has a disastrous consequence for herself; it is capable of ripping the very empire from her hands, which she wishes to cling on to. In her desperation to keep BJP out of power, she is only propelling the rise of the party in Bengal further. Like the IB chief Bhaskaran, who went all stop to prevent Vidya Basu from nabbing Milan Damji in ‘Kahaani’, Mamata is digging her own grave with her present bouts of desperation. If you don’t believe me, then see this.

Let’s put the statistics straight. Till 2006, NDA was nowhere in sight. Even in 2011 elections, it was only in the by polls that BJP could win its first legislative seat in Bengal. But in 2016 elections, out of nowhere, their vote share sprang up significantly by 5.92% to 10.7%. Since then, it is slowly but sincerely gaining ground in West Bengal. In the local by polls and municipal elections conducted till date, BJP has managed to claim a resounding victory, increasing their vote share by 48%, and 48% in local polls aren’t something to snigger upon. Things are certainly not good for Mamata led TMC government.

Beside its own facepalms, the BJP unit in Bengal has to regularly face the wrath of the Mamata led Bengal government. From arbitrary FIRs against nationalist politicians and journalists like Prof. Rakesh Sinha, Sudhir Chaudhary etc., to malicious prosecution against leaders like Kailash Vijayvargiya and Roopa Ganguly without sufficient evidence to back up, the road to Writers’ Building is not easy for the Bharatiya Janata Party. But with the single point of anti BJP agenda, Mamata is attempting the same mistakes as arrogant UP CM Akhilesh Yadav did, digging her political grave only further. It won’t be a surprise, if BJP plays a genuine victim card, which it deserves to, and sweeps the 2021 elections.

This is not all. From a meager 6.1% in 2009 to a mind boggling 16.8% in 2014 elections, BJP has certainly made its intentions clear. In this scenario, the anarchy that Mamata is unleashing upon the innocent citizens of Bengal through her Islamic goons is harming her more than doing her good. And her support is helping BJP gain ground rapidly. She still has four years ahead of her, and that’s enough for mending her mistakes for a better future, if she still has some shame. If not, then she will helplessly see her own empire crumbling to her own mistakes, and she’ll be left with only regret, nothing else.
