Manishankar Aiyar makes atrocious statements about Sukma Killings. Media choses to ignore

Cult secularism- Virtues as evil’ and Evil as Virtues-India, the land of Dharma turned into a more savage land for which Indian media has to take the blame exclusively. Bigotry of non-Hindus is justified, and profound dharma of Hinduism is cursed as part of the liberal’s agenda of minority protection. I have no other option, but to call this genre of pseudo-secular messiahs as ‘liberals’, though this self-styled phrase of theirs is totally absurd to them, but unfortunately, it’s in usage.

I term it as ‘cult secularism’ for the reason; the very phrase ‘secularism’ has become a blind worship for the media and for many political parties for electoral gains.

Media, since 1950s nursed a pro-minority secularism. The media has sustained this approach believing in the division of society into a ‘majority’ and ‘minority’ segments. Having done this, media has been justifying their ‘pro-minority’ stance as ‘minority’ is considered as a vulnerable section which is surrounded by the mighty ‘majority’.

The reality is though otherwise.

This dishonest approach of the media has severely undermined all the established norms, ethics, human rights and values that have been established in the Constitution. This lead to the extreme pampering of minorities and extreme bashing up of majority Hindus. These one-sided sermons continued for over 6 decades. In the last 30-35 years, particularly, this fraudulent approach of our media has reached the testing stage. Secularism has become a cult and the media authors have become its messiahs.

Values, principles, rule of law, fundamental rights and duties are all universal for the humanity. Such values cannot be interpreted differently. A law is Law for majority or minority. Human rights are just human rights, be it for a victim from a majority community or from a minority community,

Congress leader Mr Manishankar Iyer ’s take (1st May ) on the Naxal killing of 25 Jawans in Sukma titled ‘How We Are Letting Heart Of India Slip Away‘ in NDTV is a shocker again.

Manishankar Iyer added more salt to the wounds in Sukma as if Farooq Abdullah, Digvijay Singh did not insult enough. This write-up gives an impression as if the Naxalism took birth after 2014, under the regime of PM Narendra Modi and the Congress party had no clue about these jungle based insurgent groups.

Throughout in the write up there is not a single line of condemnation of the brutal killing of 26 Jawans but he went on justifying the Maoists killing spree. Manishankar Iyer blamed the prevalent corruption in the society and justified the killings implying that Naxals were provoked by “an intimidating forest guard, the corrupt forest contractor, the bullying thanedar, and the bribe-taking patwari’.

So this Congress leader expects us to believe that these bureaucrats were all sincere and upright under Ajit Jogi’s rule but become dishonest only after BJP’s Raman Singh took charge of the State.

The ultimate object of our media is to frustrate the Right, ignore the ‘just nationalists’, anoint the Left, and shield the bigotry among the minorities. Their silence on Muslim’s dogmatism, communal bent, intolerance are all evident in their writings, tweets, columns, rage in every media outlet, they hold swear. While succeeding in their agenda, the media is least embarrassed for their bias, least apologetic for their shameful support to all that is bigotry, if that has a ‘minority ‘tag. The writers behind these scripts are no less in their intellect. They are all endured in the journalistic world for centuries and become celebrities in their own world, enjoying hefty pay and perks in accredited publishing and broadcasting houses. In other words, they encroached the established media houses and ruling the roost.

That does not mean, they are speaking the truth, only the truth, rather it is evident, that their campaigns are agenda driven, so it is ostensibly full of lies and virulent too.

A Barkha Dutt undertook to spread lies on Beef. Yet the establishment could not slap any criminal case against her. Shekhar Gupta manufactured a fake ‘mutiny’ story written in his own style, yet no action was taken against him.

What’s the underlying factor of the secularism of the media?

Since the time of Nehru the media has been somehow succeeding in avoiding a nonpartisan and open debate on ‘Secularism’. Even after the advent of Electronic media, in the late 80’s, they continued their efforts to avoid an open non-partisan debate on Secularism. But later, however, the Social Media has started revealing the lies and cunning intent of this band of journalists

Yet, the Right has no program or strategy in place to counter the hypocrite left on war footage, as the Right is more a divided house across India, ridden with self-image, self-promotion rather than carrying a collective commitment towards propagation of Right ideology.

On the other hand, the strength whatever the liberals are putting up is mediocre in reality, but then they are peeping through a magnifier, to convince us that they mean majority opinion.

Media has been executing this agenda in two ways.

  • Justifying religious minorities bigotry, lumpen communal bent, fatwas, triple talaq, religious conversions etc.
  • As if not enough, to delight the minorities further, the majority Hindus faith is taken to task in every possible way. Hindus faith is questioned, ridiculed right from the Harappan age to present age. The reason? To please the minorities.

Now, a frightening 3rd factor has entered and re-shaping the liberal’s definition of ‘secularism’. That is Naxals, Maobadis and the Pakistan. The common factor that is still shaping their secularism is ‘Contempt for the majority community.

Naxals, Maobadis, JNU kind anti-nationals, religious minorities, and Pakistan have all one common enemy that is ‘Hindu’

Hence, their harangue is here to stay until this wicked secularism is completely eliminated by the nationalists.
