Happy with Nirbhaya Verdict? Well! These people are not

5th May 2017, will go down as another red-letter day in the history of the apex judiciary body in India, the Honb. Supreme Court when they upheld the death sentences of the four monsters, who had brutally raped and tortured a 23-year-old, young physiotherapist intern, Jyoti Prakash Singh, who we better know as Nirbhaya, on the dark night of Sunday, 16th December 2012, in a moving bus, near Vasant Kunj, Munirka Crossing.

Despite the supreme bravery that the Braveheart showed to the inhuman torture perpetrated by the monsters, including the cannibal teenager, who inserted the iron rod into her private parts, she succumbed to her injuries on 29th December 2012. Following a huge wave of protests, followed by waves of anti-incumbency, the struggle for the justice to Jyoti aka Nirbhaya finally culminated with the death sentence being announced to the remaining four monsters [The main accused had committed suicide within a couple of months, while the cannibal teenager was shockingly acquitted, and now grooming himself as a budding terrorist]

Why the most brutal monster of all is still roaming free, that is subject to an infinite debate later, but what transpired quickly enough, is that apart from the majority, who wanted justice at all costs for that poor soul, some overprivileged, over educated brats, who anoint themselves with the tags of intellectuals, started mouthing the irritating rants on the human rights of criminals, abolishing death penalty etc., which have harmed the civilized world more than barbarism.

Practicing double standards shamelessly is one unmistakeable trait in such Indian liberals. Among the first to have expressed his displeasure on the death sentence meted out was Tehseen Poonawalla, self-declared entrepreneur and Congress sycophant, who tweeted the following: –

A desire for death penalty & justice for #Nirbhaya do u also agree on death penalty for those who gangraped Bilkis Bano & killed her child?

— Tehseen Poonawalla (@tehseenp) May 5, 2017

I want each one of you celebrating #Nirbhaya justice ( and rightly so ) to remember again and again Maya Kodnani is not hung or in jail.

— Tehseen Poonawalla (@tehseenp) May 5, 2017

This wasn’t the end. The lawyers from the defence counsel, including the notorious perverts disguised as lawyers, AP Singh [who recommended the burning of his own daughter had the same happened to his offspring] and ML Sharma [whose atrocious statements are not even worth noting down here], castigated this decision, terming it as travesty of justice, and non-Gandhian. What? Did we just hear that right? Death sentence to the four rapists, who broke all tenets of humanity, in fulfilling their perverted desires of lust, is against the Gandhian principles? Does this hypocrisy have no end?

If you think this is it, you’re horribly wrong, mate. The pseudo liberals, not satisfied with their usual rant of human rights for only oppressors, stooped that low that any rationalist or true liberal would be ashamed at their opinions.

They equated justice to Nirbhaya, with the apparently, half-baked justice delivered to Bilqis Bano, another gangrape victim from the Godhra riots era. Yes, the atrocious equation of 2002 was brought down once again to humiliate the Supreme Court for delivering the judgment in favour of the victim.

If you don’t believe me, see the following tweet set by Congress sycophant Swati Chaturvedi, that set the precedent for the notorious trend to follow: –

Why is #BilkisBano not in the rarest of rare categories. Saw her 3 yr old daughter bludgeoned & was gang raped?

— Swati Chaturvedi (@bainjal) May 5, 2017

This only began a cowardly and cannibalistic trend of equating justice to Nirbhaya to the justice delivered to Bilqis Bano, which to start with, wasn’t even reviewed upon as of now by the Supreme Court. However, this couldn’t stop the pseudo liberals from mouthing nonsense through their rubbish tweets.

But we aren’t done yet. Barkha Dutt and Rajdeep Sardesai too have a say in it. Isn’t Barkha Dutt the same woman who horrifyingly justified every single atrocity on Kashmiri Pandits, including the dastardly and cannibalistic rapes of their womenfolk, as the protests of the suppressed majority, i.e. the Islamic community residing in Kashmir Valley? But no, she has to give her two rupees advice [as anointed by Baba KRK]: –

Many asking if I back death in #Jyoti case what of Bilkis Bano's marauders who killed her child. Yes Bano rapists should have got death too

— barkha dutt (@BDUTT) May 5, 2017

Not very far behind was Rajdeep Sardesai, who even mocked the institution of judiciary, for the apparent injustice delivered to Bilqis Bano. Following is the way he protested, on which I’m surprised as to why nobody booked this moron for a contempt of Court?

Nirbhaya killers given death sentence. Those who Gangraped Bilkis Bano, killed her child, given life. Law is supreme. Or is it an ass?!

— Rajdeep Sardesai (@sardesairajdeep) May 5, 2017

As if these were enough for you, even the self declared guardian of the rights of Muslims, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi too jumped into the fray, calling the case a sheer example of double standards, just because Bilqis Bano’s rapists weren’t given the apt sentence.

Now who is Bilqis Bano. She is a victim of the frenzied mob violence following the Godhra carnage, in which 14 of her family members, including her own 3 year old daughter, was bludgeoned to death, and she was brutally gangraped, by some of the same anarchists, who in the name of religion, went on a rampage. As of now, Bombay High Court has sentenced at least 7 of the accused to rigorous life imprisonment, while 4-5 others have been sentenced to lesser sentences, and 7 more were acquitted for the lack of evidence. The matter is still to be raised before Supreme Court. So how is Supreme Court guilty of not delivering the justice? Or is Supreme Court the overlord of liberals only as per their convenience?

Never did anyone think that the pseudo liberals of Indian intelligentsia would stoop this low to protect the so-called criminals in the name of human rights. How can one justify the blatant whataboutery, which actually meant at demeaning the victim Jyoti, just because she belonged to a different religion, and Bilqis Bano. Or do even rape victims have a religion? It might be possible, because the way the cannibalists who butchered lab technician, and unfortunately a Kashmiri Pandit, Girija Tickoo, years before Nirbhaya, are roaming scot free, is nothing less than hypocritical. But sadly, no tweets were ever composed, no protest ever shown against them, because Girija Tickoo and Jyoti Singh are not vote banks, right?

This cannibal politics by the so-called custodians of the democratic setup of India is nothing less than absolute mockery of Indian democracy itself. When they failed with Rohith Vemula and intolerance, they tried their might with Kanhaiyya Kumar. When he bit the dust, they brought up Gurmehar Kaur, and now Bilqis Bano is being systematically used as a pawn to further their selfish interests. Isn’t this a mockery of justice? While I agree that Bilqis Bano deserves every ounce of justice, in no way should her fight be diverted to the cause of demeaning the institutions of law in this country, as well as denying the victim of any source of self-respect post this incident.
