Digvijay Singh, the heir of the erstwhile Gwalior rulers, a Congress staunch man in his quest for outlandish display of loyalty often ends up making snide remarks that are often self-contradictory.
This 69 years old Raja of Raghogarh recently seemed all irked as to why PM Modi is talking for the people of Baluchistan when he is not willing to talk to the people of Kashmir. Digvijay Singh blamed the PDP-BJP Government of mishandling the Kashmir issue and held them responsible for the turbulent situation in Kashmir even when decades of talking under the Congress rule yielded no decisive or productive results.
Digvijay Singh even went ahead and called Kashmir – India Occupied Kashmir.
It is really interesting to note that on one hand Mr Digvijay Singh digs at the ruling Government on the Kashmir unrest and on the other hand fuels that very unrest by supporting organizations that openly call for a separate Kashmir state.
Although it is not very strange that the Azadi calls calling for separate Kashmir statehood were echoing in Karnataka all the way from Kashmir, considering that it is a Congress rule state as this onset of manufactured Azadi calls are often supported and endorsed by those very people pretending to be concerned about the inclusivity of Kashmiris. The recent confirmation by Digvijay Singh that the Karnataka CM Mr. Siddaramaiah, has assured him that he would not make any arrests pending probe, only asserts the fact that the Congress stalwarts are perpetuating a partitioning plague and playing Pokemon Go in the political canvas of prevailing secularism even to the extent of letting down national interests.
The Amnesty International event that involved shouting of anti-national slogans calling for separate statehood for Kashmir was a well-orchestrated plan with an established network of liberal politburo and secular politicians who are seemingly getting more brazen by each passing day with their repeated strategies of blowing the same trumpet from different turrets whether it is the Kashmir issue or the beef issue or the Dalit issue!
It is no secret that the Kashmir issue was Nehru’s gift to India and that the Nehruvian apologists today blatantly downplay their miscalculations, misrule, tyranny and injustice meted out during the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits. But the fact that these same people today stiffly seek justice to the people of Kashmir by winning hearts when the reality is that today there are mostly infiltrated hearts from across the border throbbing there making callous pitches for plebiscite through their propagandists, knowing fully well that it is an incomplete state with more than half of its native residents inhumanly and forcibly thrown out of its state decades ago.
Even in the past Digvijay Singh has dug below his own feet making several senile remarks, be it the “Tunch maal” remark about a female minister or his unfounded allegations about the RSS being behind the 26/11 terror attacks, when the gravity of the situation demanded a mature statesmanship to take the opposition along in the larger interest of the nation without seeking shortcuts.
Blame it on his age or the agony of an antagonized aged party veteran but this time around with his Kashmir dig and subsequent endorsement to an anti-national activity by his clan men, he has once again proved his contentious credentials exposing his concocted notion first nation last theory with absolutely no regard for the integrity of India.
But the ball is now in BJP’s court, will they continue to deal with soft kid gloves and put up with these snide, India smear campaigners fearing their dynastic dynamics or will they permanently paddle out the Brown British weevils across political wards!
