For years, the Indian audience had to suffer the shenanigans of you and your ilk in silence. Your snide remarks, your biased reporting, your lies, your smug, supercilious smile, that arrogance of your Oxbridge education that entitles wifey to snidely refer to other journalists as ‘Bhaisahabs and Behenjees’, we have seen it all.

Someone showed you your place in Madison Square. You went to Madison Square Gardens and asked people who were heckling you, ‘Did Modi teach you this? Did America teach you this’?

Well, and who taught you this ‘journalism’ Rajdeep? Did Sonia Gandhi teach you how to treat your audience with disdain? Did your hero Arvind Kejriwal teach you how to lie with a straight face?

Rajdeep, you told the people ‘you have money, but no class’, just because they booed you and called you biased. Class doesn’t come free with an Oxbridge education, I am afraid. By making comments like these, you proved that YOU were vulgar and uncouth, not the NRIs.

YOU called someone as A$$hole first, that person returned your label to you with interest. Then YOU lunged at him and pushed him like you were some two-bit Mawali from a Bandra local and then whined that YOU were abused.

The world doesn’t owe you anything just because you have a microphone and a camera. If you have the right to peddle lies in the name of ‘journalism’, your viewers have the right to call your bluff as well.

Rajdeep, you confused Shri Devendra Fadnavis, honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra for some two bit ultra-right Hindu who doesn’t understand insults hurled at him in the first place, let alone responding to them. You were wrong like you always have been. Fadnavis’s letter didn’t just debunk your lies but also exposed your malicious propaganda.

You stand exposed. Now laugh it off, try to downplay it and gear up for the next stunt. Someone will put you back in your place. Again!

Regards,

Shefali Vaidya

Guys like this Khajdeep, deserve to be humiliated publicly. He was given verbal beating by Modiji and Smritiji couple of times but he will not leave his ways. Their is a proverb in Marathi ” Kutryache sheput nalit ghatle tari wakde te wakdech”. This is definately one of those. But again comparing such a low life with honest animal as dog is derogatory to the whole dog breed.

Even after getting l lesson from the general public at Madison Square Garden in USA and getting a slap from Maharashtra CM hope this man mends his ways. Stop doing presstitute journalism in the name of sicularism of the Nehru-Gandi dynasty or Lallu/Mulla/Nitish/Owasi variety and stop his leftist propaganda of being anti hindu. People will not tolerate this type of journalism any more.

Thus TFI or its writers writing about class is laughable.

  11. Raj Mathur says:

It was just a bad read….No offense, but you have to get out of your shell and look what is actually happening to society. Its easy to watch some clips and write a witless blog. If you are so sure that the governance and development is going so good in Maharashtra that you can insult a Journalist over it (I am not a fan of Rajdeep) get a success story by yourself for Maharashtra CM. What I can see is farmers are still dying, prices are still rising in spite of all the efforts…or are they?? putting in enough efforts!!

Amit…..And you my friend definitely are a guy who judges people a lot. And who is this Khajdeef guy you keep talking about…or did you mean khaja-beef…I wanna…but guess what its banned..!!!

And technically you are a Bhakt. Otherwise you would have at least read the letter before commenting

    • sachinpurohit says:

The insult is not on journalist. The insult is on spreading lies under the garb of journalism. People trust the printed word, they trust what is spoken by “noble” “intellectuals” like Rajdeep Sardesai. So it is dangerous when these people spread lies, which have clearly been exposed by the honourable CM. As regards development and governance in Maharashtra, a lot can be said and written but why don’t you read this article again?

The article does not have anything that talks about governance or non-governance in Maharashtra. It has merely called Rajdeep’s bluff. So why not stick to the topic?

    • Raj Mathur says:

I have no need to read it again….I rather spent that time in reading Rajdeep’s reply to Maharashtra CM’s reply. Now again people will find ways to drag some point….but that is democracy…and so is me speaking…!!

  12. Vishal Thakur says:

Comparing with kejriwal and sonia gandhi, shows your level of writing as well, and (if)judging me anti-bjp for this is again your set state of mind. I do agree with the content of this article, but the way propagating and writing makes you fall in one of their category only.

The substance is already there in Devendra Phadnavis’ reply to Rajdeep’s open letter. I don’t think this writer needs to repeat it. She is just reiterating what a tight slap it was and the fact that Rajdeep does not even have the courtesy to apologise.

    • Bhavya Venugopal says:

Ummm..what should he be apologizing for, pray tell me? I thought this was still democracy. Or atleast that’s what some of us think.. If you changed it to aristocracy or dictatorship, please make it official so noone will question the Government again.

    • Raj Mathur says:

      I agree Bhavya….Guys keep saying….slaps and insults…
And whenever someone raises their voice against something they dont like…the blind followers abuse them for using their fundamental right….!!! RIP Democracy

Rajdeep Sardesai ko gussa kyun aya. A man who himself facing charges of defamation and a known detractor of Modi, gets angry when he is called leftist and peudo secularist by Devendra Fadnavis. He made a complete mockery out of himself when he wrote a rebuttal to the reply of the CM to his original letter. Ideally in situations when you write a article and you have a reply from other person, a journalist should stay silent. But Rajdeep Sardesai anger was so much that he has to write rebuttal to a rebuttal. His anti Modi agenda is so deep that he tried to instigate mayhem at Madison square garden by assaulting a man and then playing victim that “Did Modi asked you to do this?”. Thanks to social media that he was exposed.

“Ideally in situations when you write a article and you have a reply from other person, a journalist should stay silent.” HAHAHAHA! Your idea of democracy?? Who taught this? Who defines “ideally” for each case? You? :P

    • Sibby says:

I take your sarcasm positively. :). I am not talking about democracy. Mr Rajdeep is free do to do whatever he likes. I am not stopping him to write. I write a lot of articles for research journals. Whenever we write a rebuttal, the journal publishes it and allows scientific community to decide, which one is actually true/factual Sometimes both are correct in its own way. We as research authors without prejudice, see accepts each other comments and criticism. I am just trying to say it would have been better and graceful for him, if he had not written the second article.

Please read article by Twinkle Khanna in TOI. When the readers pointed out her biased view, TOI started to delete their comments (including mine). Many readers have complained about it. I think this is their idea of democracy where journalist and politicians are allowed to express but not the common citizen.

    • Shyam says:

Do yoy mean journalist can write any lies and the accused should keep on replying their false propoganda and waste their preciois time. Democracy is bringing out facts and not malinging anyone for the sake og money and cheap publicity. Such journalists desrve kick in ass.
