What are the FID Financial institutions duty loans
Financial Institutions Duty is a state duty which all financial institutions pay on the money paid to them. Sometimes when a cheque is dropped in banks such as SBI, an amount is cut against the FID loans. Bank charges for the correction/clearing of other bank cheques.

Financial institutions duty “FID Loans” was originally a duty levied by all Australian states and territories except Queensland on deposits to bank accounts, term deposits, and similar.
The tax was introduced in the different states on dates between 1982 and 1992. It was abolished in all states from 1 July 2001 as part of the package of reforms for the goods and services tax. The bank account debits tax was also abolished as part of this package.
The duty was a percentage of the amount deposited, but with a maximum tax per deposit on ordinary accounts,

The borrower was a loan from the First Fidelity Thrift Loan Association (First Fidelity) as owner of the commercial property in question. A preliminary supplementary title report shows that a non-partisan bank and trust deed revealed a discrepancy between the borrower’s financial statements on the loan application and notes on the property’s charge in favor of First F fidelity, and official land registry records show that the trust deeds favor First F fidelity. The bank indicated that the loan was for a commercial property and would be repaid.
While the Alliance sought to correct the discrepancy between the borrower’s original loan application and the government proof of ownership transferred to the borrower by the non-partisan bank, the Alliance understood that the borrower’s principal bank was First Fidelity and claimed that these efforts were insufficient. Mexico and Chile (below) delivered 0.01 per cent of GNI.
