JNU – The sanctuary of literate uneducated fools

JNU

Imagine the most retarded crybabies crying about things they have no clue or hardly care about and engulfed by a pathological hatred for Mother India, that’s what the Commie Battalion of JNU are. Pardon my language, but there’s hardly any other way of describing the JNU Wallahs who chant slogans of ‘Bharat ke tukde tukde hongay.’ JNU students have made it a point to cry about anything and everything, indulge in activities they know will have repercussions and then cry victim when the repercussion eventually comes.

There was a time when Universities were seen as a place to learn and share new ideas, to collaborate with the professors and explore new fields and territories. Sigh, those were the days. Now, they have been reduced to battlegrounds for the most senseless of protests and the most obnoxious of Politics.

And all of us were witness to the Circus that Rohith Vemula’s Suicide denigrated into. Even when the victim had specifically mentioned that no one was to blame for his action, there were students protesting against the University Authorities blaming them for his death. Honestly, How retarded can you get? The University is to be blamed for suspending a student who hospitalized another student merely because of Political Differences? And pray tell me, what exactly does Dalit Empowerment have to do with Yakub Memon? If we were to make a set of all the issues that are common with Yakub Memon’s Death Penalty and the Plight of Dalits, we will probably have a null set in our hands.

Of course, as his last few Facebook posts reveal, Rohith Vemula was increasingly disenchanted with the whole political establishment that he himself was a part of. He messed up his career, hospitalized another student, organized protests against the Death Penalty of a Terrorist, and raised slogans of Solidarity with a Mass Murderer. Good Lord, what a mess.

But in spite of all that, somehow the University authorities are responsible and not the students. It has not escaped my notice that somehow all the time every time, in a clash between the University authorities and Students, the Political Establishment including the Media always takes the side of the latter. Ask yourself, is it possible that the Students are always right and the authorities are always wrong? Students who listen to Honey Singh’s music, go watch Himesh Reshammiya’s movies First Day First Show, booze until they vomit, have sex without condoms, somehow I am expected to believe they are right and authorities with wisdom that only age can provide and also, proper educational qualifications are always wrong? Come on, who else finds this suspicious? Surely, it can’t just be me. As to why this is, I will leave you to form your own conclusions.

What all this has done is make University Authorities in Government Colleges to not really care about the lawlessness in their own campus. On one hand, we blame the authorities if discipline is not maintained and on the other hand if the students revolt against the measures adopted to enforce discipline, the political establishment never fails to take the side of the students. How can you improve the condition of Government Universities if you let Hormonally Charged Hopeless Romantics dictate terms to actual Sane Headed folks?

I am a student myself and I think, sometimes the students are very justified, like the time in Kolkata when students of Jadavpur University protested against the VC for justice for a female student who was raped. But more recently, we are seeing a series of protests for baseless reasons.

Be it FTII or Presidency College or Hyderabad University or obviously JNU, we have reached a point where we aren’t dealing with Students anymore. We are dealing with a bunch of goons who are under the assumption they are fighting for a Worthy Cause, making a mockery of the Environment in the University, awarding more priority to Political Activism than Studies, testing the Authorities’ limits and cry victim when punished. These are not students, these are crybabies who are so intoxicated by visions of their own glory that they can’t handle the fact that they are expected to obey some rules and maintain a decorum.

The Communist students of JNU are a special breed. Imagine studying off the Taxpayer’s money, living off the generosity of the Indian Union and then have the audacity to chant Anti-India Slogans. This is taking ‘Jis Thaali me khaana, ussi me chhed Karna,’ to a whole new level. And JNU Wallahs are supposed to be the elite students of the whole lot. Sorry, I have some serious trouble swallowing that pill. Sometimes, I find myself wondering, does Arundhati Roy before turning in for the night find herself thinking, ‘Yaar, kya bewakuf banaya JNU waalo ko, mazaa aa gaya!” Or is her mind equally infected by the Commie Virus?

Well, to sum it up, to the Political Establishment, I say, do not give in to the demands of these dolts, because you cannot satisfy these dolts. The more you give them, the more they want. In fact, the reason they have become so insufferable is because the authorities have been far too lenient on them. Give complete power to the authorities to curb hooliganism and indiscipline in the campus, things will return to normalcy. Some suspensions and rustication will help too. And Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, who love to see themselves as Youth Icons, well, I can’t stop you from taking advantage of idiots. Please carry on, at your own risk. Because you see, students are volatile. Today, they maybe with you, tomorrow is a different story.

And to my fellow students, please come to your senses. Deal with the fact that every freedom comes with responsibilities. You cannot have everything your way, learn to come to a compromise. If you want to share your views and indulge in Activism, use Social Media. Leave the University Campus for Education and education alone. By screaming Anti-India slogans, you are not jeopardizing India’s future, you are jeopardizing your own. By protesting for extremely silly reasons, the only point you’re making is that you’re an idiot.
