Millionaire’s Son Escapes Bitter Bait of Forced Conversion Network in Uttar Pradesh

A sophisticated religious conversion racket targeting wealthy youngsters has been blown wide open in Uttar Pradesh after a prominent businessman's son, who was systematically brainwashed, blackmailed, and rechristened as Mohammad Ali, successfully returned to the Hindu fold.

A dangerous conversion network has been exposed in western Uttar Pradesh following the return of a young man named Ayush Malik to his family. Malik is the son of a wealthy medicine dealer called Devraj Malik. The police investigated his sudden disappearance and found that a group had forced him to convert to Islam under a new name, Mohammad Ali. During a raid at the property, police officers discovered a large knife. They also found a personal diary with a disturbing note that read, “I Am on Mission.”

This major discovery has triggered a massive police hunt across multiple states. Law enforcement teams are searching for a local cleric named Munnavar who helped run the scheme. As the police closed in on the town of Shamli, the cleric fled the area to avoid arrest. Investigators believe he is hiding in Chennai or the remote Andaman Islands. Special police teams are now raiding various locations to capture him.

How the Trap Was Set

The trouble began at Ayush Malik’s own shop, Bharat Medicos. A head clerk named As Mohammad, who also goes by Ashu, realized that Malik came from a very wealthy family. Ashu then used his sister, a physiotherapist named Chandni Qureshi, to set a trap. Chandni joined the same gym on Majra Road that Malik attended. She pretended to be a professional gym trainer to get close to him.

Once she won his trust, Chandni secretly filmed explicit videos of the young businessman. The group used these videos to blackmail Malik and extort large sums of money from his family. They also used the footage to force him into changing his religion.

The Method of Brainwashing

The group did not just blackmail Malik; they also broke his spirit. They systematically brainwashed him by forcing him to watch radical videos by a Pakistani extremist named Dr Israr Ahmed. This intense psychological pressure damaged Malik’s mental health. Once he was completely vulnerable, his handlers took him to a mosque in Delhi in 2023.

Two clerics from Ghaziabad and the local cleric Munnavar performed a forced conversion ritual there. After this event, the group forced Malik to grow a beard, wear different clothes, and pray five times a day. They also held a forced marriage ceremony to extort more money, though police found no official marriage certificate.

Family Rejoices as Suspects Face Jail

The entire conspiracy started to fall apart on 4 June when a public leader named Swami Yashveer exposed the plot. Two days later, Devraj Malik filed a formal complaint with the local police. He named Chandni Qureshi, seven of her family members, and three clerics in the report. He accused them of trying to steal his property through blackmail and forced conversion.

The police acted immediately under the strict Uttar Pradesh conversion laws. They arrested Chandni Qureshi, her father Islam Qureshi, and a relative named Bhola. All three are now in prison. Swami Yashveer later publicly thanked the Chief Minister and the Shamli police for their swift action.

The long ordeal ended happily for the family when a new video appeared online. The clip showed Ayush Malik worshipping Lord Hanuman at his family home while the Gayatri Mantra played. Malik apologized to his parents, touched their feet for blessings, and vowed to remain a Hindu forever. Devraj Malik confirmed the video is real and expressed great relief.

At the time of reporting, Shamli police chief NP Singh stated that seven suspects are still running, but officers will arrest them very soon.
