The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has rolled out an extensive nationwide programme to mark 11 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre. In a letter addressed to party workers, BJP’s National General Secretary Arun Singh detailed the plan for a multi-tiered outreach campaign titled “11 Years of Modi Government – Sankalp se Siddhi”, emphasizing governance achievements and national pride, particularly the recent Operation Sindoor.
The letter hailed the success of Operation Sindoor, a major cross-border counter-terrorism strike. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, quoted in the letter, said the operation displayed “bravery and courage” that made “every Indian proud,” calling the precision attack on terrorist camps across the border a “new paradigm in global anti-terror efforts.”
Two national coordination committees, led respectively by General Secretaries Sunil Bansal and Arun Singh, will oversee the implementation of the campaign. Senior party leaders including Rekha Verma, Dushyant Gautam, and Dr. Radha Mohan Agarwal will assist in various aspects, the letter added.
As the Modi government enters its 12th year, the BJP appears set to reinforce its narrative of national progress, decisive leadership, and grassroots governance, using both traditional outreach and digital mobilization strategies.
Extensive Party Outreach Campaign
Under the guidance of BJP President JP Nadda, the campaign aims to mobilize the party’s machinery from the state to the mandal level. Key events and actions include state and district workshops to be completed by June 5 to prepare local cadres. Press conferences scheduled at state June 9 and district June 10-11 levels to showcase governance achievements of Modi government.
Professional meets will be organised with panels of experts to discuss governance in every district. “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabhas” or grassroots meetings in every mandal will be held where citizens will take a pledge for a developed India. Public gatherings in urban and rural areas at mohalla and panchayat chaup woll also be held to explain government schemes. Focus will also be on 100% enrolment for the Ayushman Bharat Yojana among senior citizens, with door-to-door campaigns led by elected representatives.
The campaign also integrates civic and environmental consciousness. While mandals will hold training camps from June 15–20, culminating in apolitical celebrations on International Yoga Day, June 21. The BJP will launch a two-month-long tree plantation and seed-ball initiative during the duration.
There will also be attempt to highlight the 50th anniversary of Emergency imposed by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975, the BJP plans district-level seminars and felicitation events for those jailed during that period, described in the letter as “Loktantra Senanis” (Soldiers of Democracy). The campaign aims to rekindle public memory of what the party calls “dark days of democratic suppression.”
To reach out to younger and digital-savvy audiences, the BJP will hold competitions for short films, graphics, and narration videos, with awards distributed at the state level. District exhibitions and the publication of governance literature are also part of the outreach.
