A shocking case of moral policing has come to light from Bengaluru, Karnataka. Four delivery boys have been arrested for harassing and allegedly assaulting an interfaith couple involving a Hindu boy and his Muslim classmate. The arrested accused have been identified as Md Mohsin, Md Mansoor, Md Afridi, and Waseem Khan.
As per reports, the incident unfolded on Wednesday (9th April) in Chandra Layout area in Bengaluru. The accused delivery boys harassed and allegedly assaulted a Hindu boy and her burqa-clad female friend.
The accused delivery boys confronted the burqa-clad girl who was sitting on a scooter with a boy who hails from the Hindu community. As per the police, the accused were objecting that the Interfaith friends were sitting together and they began questioning the duo aggressively.

As per media reports, the accused started asking questions like, “Why are you sitting on a bike with a Hindu boy while wearing a burqa?” and “Don’t you have any shame or family honor?”
It is also alleged that they demanded her family’s phone number, in an attempt to intimidate her.
In a sharp retort, the Muslim girl replied, “He is my classmate. Why should I give you my family’s contact details?”
To which, the accused then started questioning the boy why he was meeting the Muslim girl.
Following the verbal exchange, the accused launched an attack and allegedly assaulted the boy while recording a video of the Interfaith duo sitting on the bike. Incidentally, they later shared the moral policing video on social media to shame them.
Based on the complaint of the Muslim girl, the police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation into the matter. They have also arrested four accused involved in the incident.
