Yet another incident of mysterious killing of a Pakistan-based terrorist at the hands of “unknown gunmen” has come to light from India’s hostile neighbour. In the recent incident, bike borne assailants fatally shot a top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) financer Abdul Rehman. The deceased LeT financer was a close aide of the notorious LeT terrorist Hafiz Saeed. The incident which unfolded in a Karachi market, was also caught on camera, and the video of tha fatal shooting is now doing rounds on social media platforms.

According to media reports, two unknown individuals arrived on the crime scene riding a bike following which one of the attackers opened fire on Rehman who was standing in a shop. Rehman was a key financier for the Pakistan based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba. He was primarily responsible for gathering financial support for the terror outfit.

Rehman was said to have significant influence in Karachi as he served as a central figure for LeT’s fundraising operations. As per the group’s modus operandi, collectors from different areas used to submit funds to him. Subsequently, he used to channel this fund to the higher authorities of the terror outfit.
Earlier this month, unknown gunmen neutralised Mufti Shah Mir in Balochistan, Pakistan. Mir was fatally shot when he was coming out of the mosque after offering prayers. Mir had infamously helped Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI in the kidnapping of retired Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav from Iran. Mir was accused of promoting terrorism and was also involved in crimes like human trafficking.
According to Pakistan’s portal DAWN, Mufti Shah Mir was coming out of the mosque after Friday prayers on the night of March 7, 2025 when bike-borne attackers ambushed him. While he was rushed to the hospital, doctors declared him dead.
