A video featuring popular podcaster, Journalist Shubhankar Mishra is doing rounds on social media in while he narrates his opinion on Chahal’s divorce row. In the viral video, Mishra pondered on the ragging debate around self-made woman vs Gold digger. He argued that if one accepts money, they can’t claim to be a self-made woman adding that in that case, people will not be wrong in calling her a “Gold digger”.
The viral clip has seemingly been liked by Ritika Sajdeh, wife of Indian Captain Rohit Sharma. It has fueled speculations that she shares a similar opinion.
In the video, Shubhankar Mishra can be heard saying, “Dhanashree will face difficulties starting a new life after her divorce. Chahal’s fans will troll her, and in such cases, having financial security provides empowerment and sense of power. But then, one should refrain from calling themselves a ‘self-made woman’?”
He further adds, “If Chahal is wearing a T-shirt that says ‘Be Your Own Sugar Daddy’ or if people call you a gold digger because you accepted money, then one shouldn’t take offense.” Ritika’s interaction with the post on Instagram has added to the ongoing controversy.
