From Nuh, Moradabad, Delhi riots to Nagpur Violence: Here is how Islamists ecosystem frame Hindus as ‘Oppressors’, Vicky Kaushal is just the Latest Target

How Leftists Shield Islamist Rioters While Blaming Hindus for Their Violence

Every time Islamist rioters unleash violence, arson, or even terror attacks, the Leftists immediately jump into action not to condemn the violence, but to shield the perpetrators. Whether it is the Delhi riots, the Nagpur violence, the Nuh violence, or the brutal beheading of Kanhaiya Lal, the leftist media, Congress ecosystem, and so-called “intellectuals” have consistently twisted the narrative to exonerate radical Islamist mobs while shifting blame onto Hindus. Their goal has always been the same: protect the Islamist Rioters at all costs, downplay their crimes, and demonize those who speak against them.

A recent example of this was the Nagpur violence, where Islamist mobs set vehicles on fire, injured over 30 police officers, and vandalized public property over rumors that a Quran had been burned. As it later turned out, no Quran had been burned, instead of calling out the violence and ensuring that the rioters were held accountable, the left-liberal ecosystem worked overtime to justify the mob’s actions. Their excuse? They pointed fingers at the Vicky Kaushal starrer movie Chhaava, claiming that the movie “hurt sentiments” and “provoked” the Muslim community.

First things first, Chhaava, which is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, merely showcased historical truths about Aurangzeb’s atrocities, his destruction of Hindu temples, forced conversions, and mass killings. However, instead of acknowledging history, leftists attempted to portray the rioters as victims, blaming Hindus for “instigating violence” by merely remembering their past. This was nothing but a blatant attempt to cover up Islamist violence by attacking free speech and historical truth.

This was the same playbook used during the Nuh riots in Haryana. On July 31, 2023, thousands of Hindus participated in a religious procession organized by VHP, but as soon as they entered the Muslim-majority area of Nuh, they were attacked. Stones were pelted, vehicles were set on fire, and Hindus were trapped in a hostage-like situation.

Instead of reporting the violence for what it was – an orchestrated attack on Hindus by Islamists, leftist tried to manufacture a justification. They spread the false claim that Monu Manesar, a Bajrang Dal activist, was present at the rally and had provoked the violence. However, an investigation later revealed that the video of Monu Manesar being circulated was from an entirely different event that took place in 2022. Furthermore, several videos revealed that the Islamist forces had premeditated a large-scale attack.

Despite the truth coming out, the liberal media refused to retract their claims, ensuring that the blame was shifted from the actual rioters to Hindus.

The pattern of Islamist violence being whitewashed by liberals is not new. In the anti-Hindu Delhi riots of 2020, Islamists, led by radical elements among the anti-CAA protestors, burned shops, set properties ablaze, and murdered innocent Hindus Ankit Sharma and Dilbar Negi among others.

However, as soon as the violence erupted, the leftist media went into overdrive to distort the facts. Instead of acknowledging the role of Sharjeel Imam, Umar Khalid, and other Islamist instigators, they tried to blame BJP leader Kapil Mishra for the riots. Despite clear video evidence of Islamists stockpiling stones and weapons, petrol bombs being hurled from mosques, and Hindu homes being targeted, the liberal establishment ran propaganda pieces claiming that the violence was a result of “Hindu aggression” and the so-called “oppression of Muslims”. The reality was that the entire riot was pre-planned by radical Islamist elements, yet the left refused to hold them accountable.

Even when Islamists go to the extreme of beheading individuals for alleged blasphemy, the left still finds ways to justify the violence or shift focus elsewhere. The Udaipur beheading of Kanhaiya Lal was one of the most horrific instances of Islamist radicalism in India, where two Muslim men recorded themselves beheading a Hindu tailor simply because he had purportedly supported Nupur Sharma on social media.

Instead of unequivocally condemning the brutality, the liberal cabal once again brought up Nupur Sharma’s remarks, falsely implying that her words were the root cause of the incident. What they refused to acknowledge was that Nupur Sharma’s remarks were a response to a Muslim cleric’s open insult of a Shivling. But in the twisted worldview of leftists, an Islamist’s act of violence is never his fault, it’s always because a Hindu “provoked” him.

Apart from Nuh, Delhi riots and Nagpur Violence, another glaring example of Islamist violence being whitewashed was the Moradabad riots of 1980. A Muslim mob vandalized the Gauri Shankar temple, killed the priest, and burned his body, yet the Congress government at the time covered up the incident, calling it a “clash between communities.” The truth, which remained hidden for decades, was finally revealed when the Yogi Adityanath government tabled an inquiry report in 2023, exposing that the violence was pre-planned by Muslim League leaders who wanted to target Hindus and Dalits. But despite this revelation, there was no outrage from leftists, no media debates, no calls for justice because acknowledging Islamist crimes does not fit their political narrative.

The same leftist cabal remained silent when Islamist Rioters in Pune gathered in large numbers, raising ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ slogans, demanding the beheading of Hindu saint Ramgiri Maharaj. The outrage that these so-called “secularists” show over any perceived insult to Islam was completely missing when Islamists openly called for murder. Instead, they tried to divert attention from the hate-filled slogans, claiming that Ramgiri Maharaj’s speech had “hurt religious sentiments”. This is the consistent strategy of leftists to downplay, justify, or excuse Islamist fanaticism while attacking Hindus for merely speaking up.

From Moradabad, Delhi, Nuh riots to Nagpur violence, the pattern is undeniable every time Islamists riot, burn, or behead, leftists rush to defend them, while blaming Hindus for merely existing. They spread misinformation, attack nationalist voices, and manufacture false narratives to justify violence. The alliance between Islamists and the liberal establishment has led to untold suffering for innocent Hindus, who are always made to look like the aggressors even when they are the victims.
