Akash Banerjee, the self-proclaimed “Deshbhakt,” has once again exposed his deep-seated bias as he twisted a tragic road accident into a communal narrative, painting revered Hindu slogan Om Namah Shivay in bad light. His recent youtube video that came out on the 15th of March, titled “Hit & Chant Formula to Get Away with Murder,” shamelessly attempts to portray the culprit of the Vadodara car crash as someone who chanted “Om Namah Shivay” to manipulate the Indian justice system. This deliberate distortion is nothing but a desperate attempt to parrot Islamo-leftist propaganda. By doing so, Akash Banerjee is not just misrepresenting facts but also fueling dangerous narratives that seek to paint Hindus as perpetrators of systemic bias, despite no credible evidence to support his claims.
The accident in question involved a law student, Rakshit Chaurasia, who was allegedly intoxicated when he rammed his car into multiple two-wheelers, tragically killing one woman and injuring several others. After this, Rakshit Chaurasia exited the wrecked car screaming incoherent phrases like “another round”, “Nikita”, and “Om Namah Shivay”.
Nowhere it can be found that the accused used a religious chant to evade accountability. But Akash Banerjee, weaved his storyline to present the whole incident as being the negative outcome of the Hindu resurgence wave in the country. His attempt to frame this as a loophole in the Indian judiciary that benefits Hindus is not only deceitful but also an insult to the intelligence of his audience. Instead of addressing the real issue of reckless driving and ensuring justice for the victims, he shifts the focus to his manufactured communal propaganda, once again revealing his bias and lack of journalistic integrity.
There were others too from the same ecosystem who came up with the same sham theory on social media platforms stating that it is the so called Hindu Majoritarianism that is giving criminals a loophole to get away by displaying the Hindu religious identity.

Akash Banerjee’s entire argument hinges on a false equivalence that because the accused allegedly chanted “Om Namah Shivay” after the accident, the Indian judiciary somehow favors Hindus and lets them escape justice. This is a baseless, fabricated theory designed to malign Hindu religious expressions. In reality, Indian law is secular and impartial, and there is no record of any criminal being acquitted simply for chanting a religious mantra. This deliberate misrepresentation exposes Banerjee’s ideological agenda—targeting Hindutva and Hindu traditions while conveniently ignoring similar incidents involving other religious groups.
For years, Akash Banerjee and his ilk have been engaged in a concerted effort to demonize Hindu chants and slogans. They have relentlessly attempted to paint Jai Shri Ram and now Om Namah Shivay as a battle cry of violence while conveniently ignoring the numerous global instances where Allahu Akbar has been associated with acts of terror. His hypocrisy is glaring while he is quick to paint Hindutva in a negative light, he remains silent on radical Islamic extremism and the dangers it poses. These malicious efforts are seemingly a concerted effort to frame ‘Saffron terror’ in new form albeit liberals maintaining an edifice that entire Muslim community should not be painted with generic brush of terrorism for the ills of Islamic extremists.
