A heinous case of rape of an elderly woman at gunpoint by a policeman has come to light from Pakistan. A drunk policeman named Amjad dragged the victim, a roadside beggar to the jungle where he raped her at gunpoint. Incidentally, when locals came to help her after hearing her cry for help, Amjad threatened them with the gun. He also opened fire to not let them intervene. One person also suffered injuries in the incident, the video of which is going viral on social media platforms.

The heinous case pertains to Shafiqabad area in Pakistan’s Lahore. The accused, Amjad, was posted as a constable at Shafiqabad police station. At night time, when Amjad was passing by from the area, he noticed an elderly female beggar there. The accused then dragged the elderly victim and took her to the jungle where he committed the heinous act at gunpoint.
On hearing the victim’s cry for help, a few passers by even tried to intervene but they were threatened by Amjad by using his gun. However, the passersby recorded the video of the development to expose the accused Cop.
In the viral video from Pakistan, the accused policeman can be seen waving a gun with the intent to shoot to kill. During this, the person making the video also shows the policeman’s bike without a number. However, even after hearing the voice, the semi-naked accused Amjad stands at his place. In the visuals, the elderly victim woman can also be seen haplessly sitting on the ground.
Initially, Amjad tried to hush people away by attacking them with his shoes, however, when they persisted to help the victim and continue recording the development, he opened fire to chase them away.
In the ensuing act, a bullet hit the feet of a youthman named Sajjad, leaving him severely injured.
After the video went viral, Lahore Operation DIG filed a case against the accused constable Amjad and suspended him.
