Cyberabad police arrested two youngsters pursuing graduation for performing dangerous stunts in their Fortuner and BMW on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Shamshabad. The two luxury cars were also confiscated from the duo.
The accused, identified as Mohammed Obaidullah Ansari and Zohair Siddiqui, are relatives, and their families own the vehicles. According to police reports, the vehicles were purchased second-hand from Delhi-based used car dealers, but their ownership had not yet been transferred.
The two boys left their homes in Attapur and entered the ORR near Rajendra Nagar on Sunday. CCTV cameras caught them doing dangerous stunts in the early hours on the Outer Ring Road. The footage went viral and a case was registered, which led to an investigation. The clues from the video helped the cops in the identification and arrest of the duo.
Vehicles used in the crime were seized by the authorities for the investigation to collect the required evidence. The accused were formally arrested and released with a surety awaiting the outcome of further proceedings. The notice serves as an official warning, while the case remains under scrutiny to determine the extent of their involvement and possible legal consequences.
A letter has been sent to Ranga Reddy district transport authorities requesting ownership details, a No Objection Certificate (NOC), and insurance records of the vehicles, according to K. Narender Reddy, SHO of Shamshabad police station, Cyberabad.

Bandra Police Register Cases of Stunt Riding Against 14 Bikers.
In the early hours of February 16, Bandra and Kherwadi police arrested 52 motorcyclists under a special operation and impounded their vehicles for their involvement in illegal racing and performing dangerous stunts along Reclamation and on the Western Express Highway.
The operation, carried out between Bandra Reclamation and Kherwadi Junction on WEH, targeted reckless riders posing a significant risk to public safety. Upon receiving reports of motorcycle racing on Mount Mary Road in Bandra Reclamation and the Western Express Highway in Kherwadi, the police control room swiftly alerted the respective police stations.
Bandra police booked 14 bikers under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act, while Kherwadi police took action against 38 offenders. All 52 bikers were served notices instructing them to report to the respective police stations for further investigation. Authorities continue to take strict action against such reckless activities to ensure road safety and prevent accidents caused by illegal racing and dangerous stunts.
