While scores of victims of the infamous Ajmer 1992 gangrape cases are still awaiting Justice, the state of Rajasthan and the nation has again been rocked with echoes of victims narrating similar sordid tales of sexual exploitation, blackmail and forced conversion. Incidentally, several horrifying incidents are coming out from the Beawar district in Rajasthan. The nauseating modus operandi involved in these cases resembles that of the infamous Ajmer 1992 case. So far, several minor victims have come out to share their ordeal stating that after trapping them, the Islamist offenders intimidated them, sexually exploited them and pressurized as well as blackmailed them to convert to Islam.

These heartwrenching details have come to the fore from the family’s complaint. As per reports, the accused have been identifed as Rihan Mohammad, Sohail Manshuri, Luqman alias Soheb, Arman Pathan, and Sahil Qureshi, and two minors are also said to be involved with them. As per the modus operandi, the accused used to prey on these vulnerable girls. They lured them into their trap by initially giving them gifts like Chinese cell phones and then coerced them and committed horrifying acts. They sexually assaulted them, blackmailed them as well as were forcing them to convert to Islam. According to reports, the Islamist perverts recorded their obscene videos and through these videos they were constantly blackmailing them. They were also forcing them to recite Kalma, observe fast and convert to Islam.

The mass sexual exploitation of minor victims by Islamists has sparked a major outrage in the city. After hearing about the families’ complaints, locals gheroaded the Police station and demanded strict action against the accused. As per Aaj Tak reports, the Police pacified the locals by assuring them that proper action will be taken against the culprits.
Bijaynagar police station in-charge Karan Singh stated that 4 to 5 minors have come forward to the police. The girls and their parents have filed complaints to the police that some youths first gave them mobile phones and then sexually exploited them by pressurizing them. Following their complaints, the police have registered 3 separate cases and detained 7 accused. The police teams are currently investigating their complaints.
Hundreds of Vishwa Hindu Parishad members also staged a protest to demand Justice to the minor victims. Dhanraj Kavadia of VHP said that the police have assured them to arrest the accused soon and take strict legal action. Earlier, they had given the police an ultimatum till 6 pm.
The families have alleged the involved of a larger “gang” in these cases. They have indicated that there could be more number of victims who are currently feeling hesistant to come out and share their ordeal in the fear of stigma of social ostracisation. It has come to light that the ordeal of the victims didn’t stop at their sexual exploitation alone. Instead they were also being blackmailed to trap more of them friends, an exact repeat of the modus operandi adopted by the Islamist culprits in the Ajmer 1992 institutionalised gangrape cases. The victim in those cases belonged to many influential families as well. The islamised culprits preyed on students studying in convent or other prominent schools with some said to be the wards of IAS, IPS officers. The culprits in those cases belonged to the notorious Chishty family with few of them holding regional posts in the Congress party.
