‘Shab-e-Barat’ is considered an important night in Islam. It is said that on this day, people of the Muslim community ask for forgiveness from their God Allah for their sins. The reason for giving all this information is that a video of Delhi Metro going viral on social media is being said to be related to Shab-e-Baraat. In this video, which is going viral on social media, a crowd of rioting Muslim youths can be seen doing hooliganism and making noise while taking entry at a metro station without any tickets. This crowd perhaps indicates the fate of its system. There is no one to stop them, the youth included in this crowd have not taken tickets and are jumping inside the metro gate.
When this video went viral on social media, users demanded action against these youth, tagged CISF, and asked questions. An ‘X’ user named Professor Sudhanshu shared the video of the incident and wrote, “Horrible news…their numbers are increasing everywhere. They are spreading panic there. This video is from Delhi Metro. See how these Muslim people have created a huge ruckus on the day of “Shab-e-Baraat”. Tagging Delhi Metro and CISF, the user wrote, “Could such a huge lapse in security have become a big threat?”
A user named Mr Sinha has also raised questions by sharing this video. Mr Sinha wrote on ‘X’, “This video is from Delhi. These Muslims had gathered to celebrate the festival of Shab-e-Baraat.“ Sinha further wrote, “Those who get scared seeing some Hindu Kanwariyas walking on the roadside will find this absolutely fine. And the reason for this is clear.”
A user named Saket has compared this crowd with the devotees of Mahakumbh. Saket, by sharing a video, wrote on ‘X’, “Look at this crowd parallel to the crowd of crores immersed in the faith of Kumbh in Prayagraj.” He wrote, “I had seen in a post that Shab-e-Baraat is a sacred day to ask for forgiveness for one’s errors and crimes; here, it has become a tool to commit crimes and terrorize the society through tribal unrest.“ At the same time, a user said that there is a need for a Yogi model in Delhi.
At the same time, senior BJP leader Sunil Deodhar has also reacted to this. Devdhar wrote on The double engine government will definitely treat them!“
Discussions on social media regarding this video have intensified.
