The trailer of the much-anticipated movie Chhaava, featuring Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has sparked a wave of excitement among the people. The trailer was released on the 22nd of January which also marked the first anniversary of the Ram Lalla Pran Pratistha. The trailer has been well received by larger audience as for them it resonated deeply with the historical past. The movie highlights the valour of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who fiercely opposed Aurangzeb’s tyrannical Islamist rule. But as expected the trailer launch of Chhaava increased the entropy of the Islamo-Leftist cabal.
While some accused the Indian cinema of coming as an additional support to propagate Hindutva, others accused the movie of spreading Islamophobia. It is amusing to look at the tweets blaming the makers of the movie for propagating the movie given that it is based on an Indian King who was tortured to death for not converting to Islam.

The tweets made the words of late renowned Author and Journalist Christopher Hitchens many years ago come true. He marked the popping up of the term Islamophobia as dangerous for the society as it will work to curtail dissent and freedom of speech.

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s supreme sacrifice for Dharma
Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire and the son of Chhatrapti Shivaji Maharaj took the Maratha Empire to new heights post the demise of his father. Throughout his life, Chhatrapti Shambhaji Maharaj never lost a war winning them all. An able administrator and the one who stood by Dharma even when he received the worst of the tortures. After Sambhaji Maharaj was captured by the forces of the Islamic Emperor Aurangzeb, he was given horrendous tortures with the condition of converting to Islam for the tortures to stop. Despite facing brutal tortures, including the gouging out of his eyes, the cutting of his tongue, and being hacked limb by limb, Sambhaji Maharaj never succumbed to Aurangzeb’s demands to convert to Islam and betray Dharma.
The details of Sambhaji’s capture and execution are documented in Masir-i-Alamgiri, the authentic Islamic biography of Aurangzeb, written by Muḥammad Sāqī Mustaʻidd Khān. The text describes how Sambhaji Maharaj, along with his companion Kavi Kalash, was dragged by the hair and made to wear a wooden cap, symbolizing his criminal status in the eyes of the emperor. Sambhaji was paraded through the camp with drumbeats and trumpets, meant to humiliate the “infidels” in front of the Muslim troops.
The death of Sambhaji Maharaj did not mark the end of the Maratha resistance, however. His martyrdom inspired the Marathas to intensify their struggle, and 27 years later, Aurangzeb died in defeat in Ahmednagar, unable to conquer the Deccan.
