The investigating team has mentioned that the attacker entered the actor’s Bandra residence by scaling the compound wall while security guards slept. Additionally, the absence of CCTV cameras in the building’s corridor has sparked further scrutiny, as it seems highly unusual for a celebrity of Saif Ali Khan’s stature to reside in a building without adequate surveillance measures. Reports indicate that four male staff members were present inside the house during the attack, raising a critical question, what were they doing at the time? Where was Kareena Kapoor Khan?
After Saif Ali Khan was attacked in an attempt to burglary, the social media and the media reports got flooded with questions of where was Kareena Kapoor Khan, the wife of Saif Ali Khan during the night of assault. Kareena Kappor Khan’s Instagram story, which was posted a few hours ago, raised curiosity among the public of whether a party was being organised inside Saif’s house or was Kareena partying outside. Also when did Kareena return home are the questions that were posed on social media.
According to media houses, Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor returned home from a party at 1:30 am on Thursday, shortly before a burglary attempt at her Bandra residence which took place around 2:15 midnight.

One of Bollywood’s biggest names, Saif Ali Khan was being rushed to the Hospital in an auto since there was no car standing in Saif’s place. This too does not make the storyline smooth. One of the biggest stars not having any car at his place makes one wonder deep about the incident.
Timur Accompanying Saif to the Hospital
According to initial media reports, Saif Ali Khan was accompanied by his seven-year-old son, Taimur, when he was rushed to the hospital after the stabbing incident. According to the auto driver and the neurosurgeon who attended to Saif, Taimur was with his father during the ordeal, walking beside him as Saif, bleeding from his neck, made his way to the hospital. The story of a seven year old boy accompanying his father had deepened the speculation game. Saif Ali Khan has been a top bollywood star with his wife and mother too in the same fame. Digesting the fact of nobody but a seven year old boy accompanying Saif Ali Khan was always a hard pill to swallow. There were also some media houses who published exclusive reports saying that it was Ibrahim Ali Khan, Saif’s older son who rushed the actor to hospital, with each house aceing their TRP game.
However, at the latest, the medical report provided to Bandra Police indicates that Saif was likely transported to Lilavati Hospital by his manager and close friend, Afsar Zaidi, who operates a celebrity management company. Since their home was only 10-15 minutes from the hospital, Zaidi took Saif to the hospital on the night of January 16, and the actor was admitted at 4:11 a.m. on January 17. So whether it was Timur, Ibrahim or Afsar Zaidi, the question wanders. However, the development soon came under fire with many questioning the delay in the Bollywood actor’s hospitalisation, but Zaidi has vehemently denied claims of any delay.

Investigating officer replaced
Amid the ongoing investigation into the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, the investigating officer was changed. Mumbai Police appointed Ajay Lingnurkar to replace PI Sudarshan Gaikwad, who was initially handling the stabbing case.

Saif’s remarkable recovery
After Saif Ali Khan was attacked and rushed to the hospital, initial reports suggested that he had sustained fatal injuries that could threaten his life. His medical report revealed multiple wounds, including a 0.5 to 1 cm injury on his back, a 5 to 10 cm wound on his left wrist, a 10-15 cm injury on his neck, and a 3-5 cm wound on his right shoulder. The most serious injury was a five-centimeter wound on his right elbow. A 2.5-inch-long blade also lodged in his thoracic spinal cord which was removed following operation. Despite these injuries, Saif was seen walking effortlessly outside his home, smiling and greeting well-wishers, leading many to question the speed of his remarkable recovery.
Different Police Teams and CCTV Footage Contradicts Arrested Suspect
After the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, Mumbai Police initially formed over 30 teams to investigate the incident. Subsequently, reports were soon flooded that a few of these teams were grilling two-three different suspects, whose identities were doxxed in the media putting their privacy and livelihood in harms way as reportedly the needle of suspicion was quickly off their shoulders.
After a few days, the Police later arrested a suspect, Shariful Islam, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national, who had entered India illegally and was using the alias Vijay Das. However, netizens allege the image of the attacker captured in the CCTV footage does not perfectly match the arrested suspect, adding further complexity to the case. In the meantime, social media has been rife with several theories with some arguing that the alleged shoddy details in the case are a facade, even some going to an extent of calling it a fabricated, fake story to hide something that what currently meets the eye. The social media is also rife with rumours around the details of reported party featuring Kareena Kapoor, alleged findings near the room of Saif’s son J, his upcoming film revolving around a jwell theif among others. Some have also peddled theories linking the contentious property worth Rs 1500 crore embroiled in a legal dispute and under the scanner to be classified as ‘Enemy property act’ by the state government following the virtual go ahead from the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
