The first anniversary of the historic consecration of Ram Lalla at his birthplace in Ayodhya is fast approaching. The Ram Mandir Trust has announced to celebrate it as “Pratishtha Dwadasi.” Special events will be held throughout the city on January 11, with prayers and aarti in every home.
As the preparations are in full-swing, a major security-related incident has come to light. A person was caught red-handed as he was secretly taking photos with a camera that was hidden in his glasses. The police quickly apprehended him. Subsequently, he was interrogated by the intelligence agencies.
Taking into consideration that the revered Hindu temple has been on the target list of dreaded Islamic terror groups like ISIS, Islamists and their sleeper cells, the security officials are also probing whether there could be a larger conspiracy behind this incident.
As per reports, the apprehended suspect was secretly clicking photographs with a camera hidden in his glasses.
It is pertinent to note that the security of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is entrusted to the Special Security Force. It was formed by the UP government especially for this purpose. SSF consists of experienced personnel from the state police and PAC who are specially trained to ensure that there is no lapse in the security of the temple.
However, this particular incident last Monday posed a question about security. How could one man, wearing glasses equipped with a high-tech camera, manage to pass through several checkpoints and get inside the temple.
In the meantime, no security personnel suspected him. It was only when he started taking pictures inside the Mandir that alert security persons caught him red-handed.
It was discovered on further investigation that he had his glasses with very tiny cameras fitted into the frames to take photographs unobserved.
Security personnel acted immediately, handing him over to the intelligence agencies, who interrogated him.
The First Anniversary of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha
Last year on 22nd January, the country and the world witnessed the historic moment when the consecration ceremony was completed with ritualistic chants in the grand Ram Mandir built atop the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.
On August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ram Mandir. And on January 22, 2024, after 500 years, Ram Lalla was finally consecrated in the magnificent temple.
In Hindu tradition, festivals are celebrated according to the lunar calendar, and similarly, the anniversary of Lord Ram’s consecration will be celebrated every year on Paush Shukla Dwadasi, also known as Korma Dwadasi. This year, it will be observed on January 11, 2025.
Special preparations are underway in Ayodhya for this important day, with around 10,000 monasteries and temples in the city hosting special events.
This Pratishtha Dwadasi will be celebrated not only at the Ram Mandir but also in every home in Ayodhya with great devotion and grandeur. The day will symbolise the deep faith and devotion of the people towards Ram Lalla and will infuse a new spirit of energy.
