A shocking news has come to light from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Malayalam actor Dileep Sankar has been found dead in a hotel room in Thiruvananthapuram. He was shooting for an ongoing serial.
As per the show makers, the Malayalam actor last visited the set two days ago. They added that there was a break in the shoot. So, Dileep was staying at the hotel.
According to his colleagues, he had been dealing with certain health issues.
Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation in this matter. While initial reports suggest no signs of foul play, the authorities are ascertaining the cause of his death.
After the foul smell from the room filled the vicinity, the hotel staff suspected something untoward happening after which they discovered his body.
The actor had featured in popular TV serials including Ammayariyathe and Panchagni. It is being said that during his stay at the hotel, he had not been seen leaving his room.
His demise has rocked the regional cinema industry. Dileep was renowned for his rich performances in TV serials as well as films and his roles were well received by audiences.
Dileep was last seen playing the role of Chandrasenan in an ongoing serial called Panchagni.
The Police investigation is still on and further details are awaited.
