Delhi Police has unearthed a major illegal immigration racket and arrested 11 people, including document forgers, Aadhaar operators, and tech experts, news agency PTI reported. These individuals were creating fake Aadhaar cards, voter IDs, and other forged documents through fraudulent websites to help Bangladeshi nationals enter India.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South Ankit Chauhan said that the illegal immigrants had used jungle routes and express trains to infiltrate Indian territory. According to DCP Chauhan, speaking to ANI, 11 accused have been arrested for providing forged identification through fake websites.

The crackdown comes after Delhi Lieutenant Governor has directed the Chief Secretary and the Commissioner of Police to initiate a two-month special drive against illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in the city. According to police sources, more than 1,000 illegal immigrants have already been identified across Delhi.
Special teams comprising local police and foreign cell officials used to do door-to-door verifications, scrutinizing documents, and interrogating to identify those who live here illegally.
BJP Social Media in-charge Amit Malviya charged Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with encouraging illegal immigration. He wrote, “Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP is actively facilitating illegal immigration of Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals in Delhi through a well-organized network. To divert attention from this anti-national operation, he falsely accused the BJP of canceling voter cards of Poorvanchalis. Now, both his tactics and lies have been thoroughly exposed.”

He added, “The Delhi Police have busted a racket involved in creating Aadhaar and voter ID card shams, along with its technology experts who ran an e-commerce website scam. Besides, they also rubbished Kejriwal’s false claim of cancellation of voter cards for Poorvanchali women.
The probe highlights the seriousness of the illegal immigration issue and its implications for national security.
