“The Haryana election is a done deal! The only matter of concern for us is how big the Congress’ victory will be…will it be a storm or a Tsunami?” these boastful remarks by psephologist-turned-activist-turned-politician-turned-expert of the day, Yogendra Yadav, didn’t age well. The Haryana Election results trend suggests that the leftist, Islamist, and Congress coterie have ended with egging on their face.
While the usual suspects and “election predictors” projected a major win for the Congress party, the result has thrown a nightmarish surprise for them. Surprise but no surprise, they have again harped back, smacking the ground in angst and hurling nastiest rants against the Electoral Voter Machine (EVM) and Exit polls.
Congress leader and party’s communication in charge, Jairam Ramesh maintained an embarrassing silence while ditching Aaj Tak reporter Mausmi’s query on Haryana election results. Have a look at the X post attached below –

Expressing apparent disappointment with major shock for the Congress party, Congress sympathizing journalist Aadesh Rawal wrote, “Haryana election became Jat-non Jat.”

As per the Election Commission of India (ECI) website, BJP is winning ahead on 50 seats, Congress is leading on 35 assembly constituencies while others are leading on 5 seats. Ironically, the Congress ecosystem and election ‘predictors’ had claimed that they have analysed the ground pulse and the Congress would win “big”, giving seats as high as high 50s and 60s, only the election results unraveling their farce of “being grounded” in their reports and predictions.
