Hitting hard the Indian National Congress for its “anti-India” politics and the party’s “hatred towards Dalits, OBCs and poor people”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the “family party” wants to weaken the country, and therefore it has been rejected by the people.
Thanking people of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir for voting wholeheartedly for the BJP in the just concluded elections, Modi said he was overwhelmed by their love and support and would continue to develop every region of the country even with more vigor.
“Congress is an anti-India party. They hate Dalits and backward people. The party wants to weaken the country by spreading hatred,” he quipped while addressing a large gathering of BJP leaders, workers and supporters at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday evening, even as the Election Commission was busy finalizing the election results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.
Modi expressed happiness and humility over Haryana people electing the BJP to form the government once again in the state, known for its ‘doodh-dahi’ (milk and curd).

“Haryana is the state that changes the government every five years, but people of the state have given our party a third straight term which is a record in itself, and we will work tirelessly to take the state to further heights,” he said, adding that people have voted for development.
The Prime Minister also hailed the fact that BJP has emerged as the biggest political party in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The vote share of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir has increased more than that of any other party there,” he said, thanking people to have supported the saffron party.
He also congratulated all who won the elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir and thanked voters for participating in the process of electing their governments.

“The win in Haryana is the result of hard work of party workers,” the Prime Minister said, asserting that he just forget the their hard work and dedication with which they worked to secure maximum vote and support for the BJP.
Modi also took a dig at the Congress, saying once it is thrown out of power, people do not re-elect the party for a long time, whereas they would elect BJP again and again, dismissing the concept of anti-incumbency.
Earlier, he said, the Congress would think they would come back to power even if they don’t work, but
that is not the case anymore. People have realized their gameplan of corruption.
“Congress is ‘parjeevi’ party. It hates everything oog think that people in general would cherish,” he remarked.
Modi said this election in Jammu and Kashmir has been historic as it was the first one after the Indian constitution was fully implemented in the region, he said referring to the earlier situation wherein the former state had special status.
“We have re-established the constitution in the region,” he added.
He also promised that the coming five years would be dedicated to development of the Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and the whole country.
Earlier, JP Nadda, national president of the BJP, welcomed Modi, praising him for his leadership qualities.
He congratulated the Prime Minister for his 23 year-long service to the nation first as Chief Minister of Gujarat and then Prime Minister for over 10 years.
He said this (the election win, and BJP’s better performance) proves that “Modi ji hai to mumkin hai”.
Nadda said the politics of the country has been changed by the Prime Minister and accused Congress of corruption and misrule in the country.
“Modi runs an accountable government. It works with full accountability,” the BJP national president emphasized.
He also took a dig at Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP, and said that the party lost at all 90 seats that it contested in Haryana.
The event at the BJP headquarter was attended by thousands of people and crores watched it live from different parts of the India and the world.
