Relations between India and Canada are going through a bad phase over the issue of Khalistani terrorists and the Justin Trudeau government has made it even tougher.
A Canadian newspaper has claimed that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s National Security and Intelligence Advisor Nathalie G. Drouin and Deputy Minister David Morrison had given sensitive information about India to an American newspaper – The Washington Post.
Canada’s Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCPM) had accused India of killing Khalistani terrorists through ‘agents’. After this, the report published by the Globe and Mail exposing the Canadian government shows that Trudeau’s National Security and Intelligence Advisor Nathalie G. Drouin and Deputy Minister David Morrison had leaked the information to run their propaganda against India.
The report also revealed that the information given by Canada to the Washington Post was to be revealed only after the press conference of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCPM).
It is worth noting that the Washington Post, in one of its reports, quoted a Canadian official as saying that the conversation and messages between Indian diplomats mention a senior Indian official and a senior RAW official, both of whom have appointed people to gather intelligence and attack Khalistani terrorists.
Apart from this, the report said that Canadian officials held a secret meeting in Singapore on 12 October 2024 with the aim of persuading the Modi government to end the increasing violence in Canada.
India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval was also present in this meeting. Many evidences related to NSA Ajit Doval and Home Minister Amit Shah came to the fore in the meeting.
The Washington Post claimed that National Security Advisor Nathalie Drouin and Deputy Foreign Minister David Morrison as well as RCMP officials were also present in the meeting.
Not only this, the report also alleged that Canadian officials have also identified at least 6 such Indian diplomats living in Canada who had intelligence about Khalistani terrorists.
Also, the report said that the Khalistani terrorists identified by these Indian diplomats were later killed by India. Apart from this, evidence has been found of India’s involvement in the murder of Khalistani terrorists Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Sukhdul Singh and other violent incidents.
In its report furthering the propaganda of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the Washington Post, citing Canadian officials, also wrote that Canadian officials had a meeting with India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
In this meeting, Ajit Doval admitted that he had obtained information about Khalistani terrorists through diplomats, but denied India’s involvement in the murder.
Taking the propaganda a step further in this report, it was said that Ajit Doval was also talked to about Lawrence Bishnoi involved in the killing of Khalistani terrorists. During this, he initially denied anything related to Bishnoi. But when Canada provided evidence, NSA Doval accepted everything and also said that Bishnoi is in jail and he is known to do wrong things from inside the jail.
It is worth noting that on October 14, RCMP officials in a press conference said that they have evidence that will establish India’s involvement in the violence in Canada. But after this it was also said that it is not being released keeping in mind the necessary investigation and court proceedings.
Not only this, RCPM also refused to tell when the alleged violence and murders took place and how much of their investigation has been done and how much is left, along with this the names of Indian diplomats and other things were also not revealed.
The very interesting thing here is that after this press conference, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau denied the statement of his police officers and said that we lack concrete evidence, we only have intelligence reports.
Did Trudeau fabricate a fake story to defend himself?
The advisor and deputy minister of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau would not have sent intelligence information related to any country to any newspaper just like that.
There would either be a big reason behind this or some selfishness. The biggest thing is that if the mutual relations between India and Canada were not very good, then they were not too bad either.
Even when Trudeau came to India in September 2023 to attend the G20 conference, he had a meeting with PM Modi. But it seems that Justin Trudeau has fabricated this whole story to defend himself.
In fact, news of rebellion of MPs was coming from Canada. There was also news that the MPs were demanding Justin Trudeau to resign. Amidst all this, Canada started making false allegations against India. If we look at the story fabricated by Canada layer by layer, we can understand that first an ‘article’ was published in the American newspaper Washington Post so that it appeared that not only Canada but also America was involved in the case. But when the Washington Post report alone did not work, a press conference was held and then a false accusation was made on India.
Perhaps Canada had assumed that on this issue, the opposition parties of India would come out against the government, showing their colors as usual, and the Indian government would be on the back foot. But this time it did not happen. The Indian government was determined to give a befitting reply to the brick with a stone. As soon as Canada prepared to make allegations, India ordered the Canadian diplomats to leave the country and also recalled the Indian ambassadors from Canada. How bad is the condition of Justin Trudeau, one can guess from the picture shown above. This picture is of a press conference of Justin Trudeau. In this, Trudeau is speaking and his two ministers look like mannequins. It seems as if Trudeau has made the ministers stand behind to take the public into confidence.
How was the ‘false story’ woven
NCP leader and businessman Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai on 12 October 2024. With the emergence of this news, it also came to light that Baba Siddiqui was murdered by shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This news was covered in other countries including India. It is possible that using this news and Lawrence Bishnoi’s anti-Khalistan statement and other history of the murder, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s National Security and Intelligence Advisor Nathalie G. Drouin may have fabricated a fake story and told it to Trudeau and then began the process of showing the false story as true.
In simple words, Justin Trudeau’s government is in danger. The MPs have now given him an ultimatum till October 28. But Trudeau already knew that a crisis was going to come upon him. In such a situation, there are indications that Trudeau may have fabricated this story to avoid the crisis and save his post of Prime Minister. But at the moment his dice seems to be backfiring. In fact, on the one hand, Canadian MPs are not listening to Justin Trudeau and on the other hand, the Indian government has also put Canada on the back foot by giving a befitting reply. Now it remains to be seen how Trudeau will save the relations between the two countries and his government after messing with the Indian government? The question is also whether Trudeau can create another fake story?
