In a horrific incident, a 53-seater bus carrying pilgrims was ambushed by terrorists in Reasi, Jammu. The attack resulted in the tragic deaths of nine pilgrims, including a child, and left 33 others injured.

The identities of the deceased and injured were being verified, but it was suspected that many of them were from Uttar Pradesh.
