Looks like people around the world have had enough of those who support terrorists, and the Hamas cheerleaders are discovering that the tide has turned against them. From legal actions to social media backlash, their support for Hamas is causing ripples they may not have anticipated.
Take, for instance, the recent pro-Hamas rally by students from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Their show of support for Palestine amid the Israel-Hamas conflict did not go unnoticed. In fact, it led to the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against four AMU students, along with several unidentified individuals. It’s a sign that the world is watching and reacting.
But that’s just the beginning of this remarkable shift. Canada, whose stance on this issue has been somewhat uncertain, was compelled to take action against an Air Canada pilot who used social media to spread hatred. On October 11th, Air Canada officially announced the removal of the pilot, Mostafa Ezzo, who had made genocidal calls against Jews. The pilot had been previously grounded when screenshots of his offensive posts went viral.

Air Canada shared the news on their social media platform, stating, “We can confirm the pilot in question no longer works for Air Canada, following the process initiated on Monday.” This decisive action reflects a growing intolerance for hate speech.
The repercussions didn’t stop there. Even former adult movie star Mia Khalifa found herself in hot water for celebrating the attacks and audaciously referring to Hamas terrorists as “Freedom Fighters.” Her affiliation with Playboy came to an end due to her controversial statements.
On October 11th, Harvard students who had initially issued a letter supporting Palestine after a terror attack by Hamas against Israeli civilians began to backtrack. The change of heart appeared to stem from worldwide criticism and corporate leaders’ decisions, a significant number of whom happened to be Jewish, not to hire anyone who supported Hamas’ violent acts.
Bill Ackman, CEO of Pershing Square, revealed on social media that numerous CEOs inquired about whether Harvard would release a list of the student organizations behind the letter. The intention was to ensure that none of them inadvertently hired any of the members associated with those organizations.
I have been asked by a number of CEOs if @harvard would release a list of the members of each of the Harvard organizations that have issued the letter assigning sole responsibility for Hamas’ heinous acts to Israel, so as to insure that none of us inadvertently hire any of their… https://t.co/7kzGOAGwp9

Surprisingly, this complex situation has ties to what some describe as Urban Naxals. Notably, several Indians were among the thousands of signatories of the contentious letter. Harvard Undergraduate Ghungroo, a part of Harvard’s South Asian Art (SAA), initially supported the pro-Palestine resolution but later backtracked.
It’s worth noting that Arjun Prasad and Farib Mahmud serve as co-presidents of SAA, while Siona Prasad and Nikhil Dharmaraj hold the positions of SAA’s cultural chairs. In one of SAA’s video conferences, held in conjunction with Equality Labs and featuring board members like Nikhil Dharmaraj and Siona Prasad, the topic was “Caste 101: Fighting Caste Discrimination in CS/Tech.”

As pointed out by an astute user on a popular social media platform, one of the signatories of the anti-Israel Harvard student union statement, Sravya Tadepalli, is on the board of directors of an organization known as Hindus for Human Rights (HFHR). HFHR, co-founded by Sunita Vishwanath, has a reputation for its strong opposition to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is known for endorsing the ‘Dismantling Global Hindutva’ event. This organization also has links to the controversial financier and ‘regime change specialist,’ George Soros.
Sravya Tadepalli, who signed off on the Harvard Students Union letter in support of Hamas/Palestine and blaming Israel for the terror attack, is also on the Board of Directors of the Anti-Hindu organisation "Hindus For Human Rights" (HFHR).

Interestingly, one of HFHR’s core members, Shraddha Joshi, has interned at the propaganda portal NewsClick, which is currently under investigation for allegedly receiving funds from China to promote pro-China propaganda. NewsClick has been accused of violating the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). Shraddha Joshi is also a supporter of Urban Naxal and ‘journalist’ Gautam Navlakha.
It seems that the world is showing a decreasing tolerance for supporting terrorist groups, and individuals and organizations are increasingly facing consequences for their affiliations and statements. This shift highlights the importance of critical thinking and responsible discourse in today’s interconnected world.
