Pakistan TTP war: A country that has become so powerful that it has developed a nuclear bomb It had all the opportunities to become a developed country and grow in the same way that India is growing. But it chose terrorism as a tool for destabilising the subcontinent. It became the source of devastation in Afghanistan and India.
India has always warned Pakistan that its terrorism policy is a ghost that will eventually hound Pakistan itself. Unfortunately, now this country is performing worse than failed states and still not acknowledging its mistake. While on one hand, it is not ready to give up terrorism, and on the other, it is blaming India for the terrorism inside Pakistan.
Pakistan TTP war: Khwaja Asif blabbers
According to Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, the country has good relations with the interim government in Afghanistan, but it is concerned that the country is now being used to launch attacks on Pakistan.
Asif stated that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is now using Afghan soil for terrorist attacks and war, especially targeting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Asif made these remarks in an interview with the Voice of America. Asif also reiterated allegations about India’s support for terrorists. Although he has been blaming India for months, Asif still has not given any materialistic proof of such false claims.
It is an eye-opening experience for Pakistan to see how terrorism gulps its proponents. Yet, it is not ready to acknowledge it.
In fact, Pakistan, which recognises terror as a diplomatic principle. But as they say, terror cannot install peace, and last year’s peace talks between the TTP and the Pakistani government failed. There has been an increase in terrorist attacks in the country since then.
Peace negotiations turned to pieces
On November 29, 2022, the TTP announced the end of their ceasefire, after which the terrorist organisation became more aggressive. Since the end of the ceasefire, more than 100 terrorist attacks have taken place, targeting security forces and police personnel.
Pakistan believes that many of these attacks were planned by TTP militants in Afghanistan. Moreover, the directives for these terrorist attacks were also given from Afghanistan. Same Afghanistan that was recognised by it in the first.
Pakistan TTP war: Blaming India would do no good
Now Pakistan is pushing propaganda that India and Afghanistan are united to terrorise Pakistan. A strange case of pot calling kettle black.
It is time for Pakistan to understand that these types of irresponsible and baseless allegations will only earn it humiliation. And that nothing fruitful is going to come out of it.
Ruchira Kamboj again takes on Pakistan in UNSC
Apart from all that, India has once again targeted Pakistan in the UNSC and unveiled its newest policy of cross-border supply of illicit weapons through drones. Indian envoy to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj, was speaking at the UNSC‘s open debate on ‘Threats to International Peace and Security.
She lambasted Pakistan by saying that “certain states with dubious proliferation credentials” that collude with terrorists should be held accountable for their “misdeeds.”
Interestingly, the UNSC presidency is currently held by Russia. The platform was utilised by the Indian permanent ambassador to the UN to expose Pakistan’s filthy tactics at a time when the country is facing horrible economic conditions. At a time when Islamabad has failed to make daily use commodities available for its people, it is financing the arms and weapons that will be illegally exported to India. This is a clear manifestation of the insane attitude of Pakistan.
She further stated that the export of weapons in a way that violates international law exacerbates geo-political tensions, and its consequences can not be ignored. According to her, the quantum of these threats multiplies when “certain states with dubious proliferation credentials, in view of their masked proliferation networks and deceptive procurement practises of sensitive goods and technologies, collude with terrorists and other non-state actors.”

Latest incident of cross-border
On April 1, the BSF reported an incident where its troops fired at a suspected Pakistani drone along the International Border in Jammu, marking the second such occurrence since mid-March. In response, Kamboj has urged the international community to condemn such actions and hold the responsible states accountable for their wrongdoing.
Pakistan has for long tried to augment militancy in Jammu and Kashmir. There had been a volume of cross-border infiltration in the past that has now been reduced to an all time low. In that situation, Pakistan is desperately looking to somehow infiltrate through the Indian borders. However, having failed in their attempt, they have evolved this unique use of drones to drop weapons illicitly into Indian territory.
TTP war: Pakistan snubbed again
There is a long list of these types of incidents. And the way Ruchira Kamboj has put up the issue shows how terrorising actions have been financed and logistical support has been provided to destabilise the Kashmir valley.
Time and again, she had countered Pakistan for its malicious agenda in the United Nations as well as for being the most heinous member of the Indian subcontinent. This time she has acquired the global stage to again unveil the harsh and terrorising reality of Pakistan.
