Bangalore Shivoham Shiva Temple – Guide
Shivoham shiv Temple is the famous temple of lord Shiva is located in the old airport road of Bangalore. This temple was Built in the year 1995. It has a Shiva statue which is 65 ft tall. It is a famous Shiva temple dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Shiva and is a popular spiritual destination to the Hindu devotees.
History of this Temple
Shivoham Shiva Temple was earlier known as Shiva Temple. This temple was built in 1995 when the founder of the temple had a vision of a temple where a colossal idol of Lord Shiva would stand as a towering symbol of hope. It is also believed to have been built without blueprints or plans or using a measuring tape.
The temple was constructed on 26 February 1995 by Sri Shankaracharya of Sringeri. Shivoham Shiva Temple was renamed Shiva Temple in the year 2016, when the temple focus shifted to helping people achieve salvation by understanding the principles in ancient Vedic texts.
The main festival celebrated in this temple is Mahashivaratri in the month of February or March.

Bangalore Shivoham Shiva temple opens at 9:00 AM in the morning and close at 9:00 PM in the evening. Morning aarti is performed at 10:00 AM in the morning and evening aarti is performed at 8:00 PM in the evening.
