Lakhpat Jhulelal Mandir – Guide
Jhulelal mandir is dedicated to Lord Jhulelal, the deity of Sindhi community, is located in Lakhpat city of Kutch district of Gujarat state. At some point of time the Indus river used to flow here and this place is considered very sacred. The description of the Narayan Sarovar built at this place is also found in the Puranas.
Narayan Sarovar is also mentioned in the Bhagavata Purana as one of the five Sarovars. Rivers have spiritual significance in Sindhi society and are worshipped. Lord Jhulelal, the presiding deity of the Sindhis, is believed to have emerged from the ocean. Jhulelal Dham is built on 42 acres of land and has an over look towards the Arabian Sea.

Lakhpat Jhulelal Mandir opens at 5:00 AM in the morning and close at 11:00 PM in the evening. Morning aarti is performed at 7:30 AM in the morning and evening aarti is performed at 8:30 PM in the evening.

Hall of Mirrors
The Aina Mahal, or the ‘Hall of Mirrors’ was built during the flamboyant rule of Lakhpatji in the mid-18th century. The engineering, architecture and ornamentation were the responsibility of Ram Singh Malam.
