History of this Temple
The Vaishno Devi Mandir in Ahmedabad is Built in 2007 and it is dedicated to Goddess Vaishnodevi. This temple is a true replica of the original Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu and Kashmir and fulfils the quest of devotees undertaking pilgrimage to the holy Hindu shrine. It has been set up on top of a simulated hillock to give a real feel of the atmosphere of the holy temple.
A man-made stone hill made of yellow sandstone is in a circular shape with many beautiful carvings and sculptures of gods and goddesses. Pilgrims have to pass through a man-made hill to reach the main temple situated on top of the hill.
