KL Rahul Career: In Cricket, there is a popular belief that ‘Form is temporary but the class is permanent.’ But when it comes to knockout games, nations can’t afford to carry on with such a risky strategy that is doomed to fail 8 out of 10 times.
As a player, there comes a time, when even amplifying efforts doesn’t yield results and whether you like it or not, taking a break is the only thing to stop this vicious cycle.
Criticism, both positive and negative, can bring out the best from a player or any individual involved in any trait for that matter. But there is a limit to everything. Indian opener and semi-wicket keeping option KL Rahul currently falls in this pathetic patch. There is no doubt that he has an exquisite range of shots especially the ones with a dead straight bat, like the well-timed pick up and flick shots. The sound of the willow is such that it can be played on loop in a time when aesthetically unpleasant orthodox shots are attracting more eyeballs.
The only sane advice for redemption
The opinions on the spot of KL Rahul in the playing eleven are extremely split and to a large extent both sides reek of bias. One side wants to completely trash his contribution and dismiss him as a nobody who should immediately announce retirement to save himself from anymore disgrace. Contrarily, the sycophants who are benefitting from the current system still want to drag this by giving absolute rubbish of an argument like “TIMING”.

KL Rahul should have long given space to youngsters who are in their prime form and realise his pathetic run and accept the only sane advice coming his way. It should be noted that, no matter how badly the “Cricketers” benefiting from this status quo want to present Venkatesh Prasad as the villain, his advice is the only thing that can save KL Rahul’s career, which is still very promising.
A few people thinking i have something personal against KL Rahul. Infact it is the opposite. I wish well for him and playing him in such form was never going to enhance his confidence. For him to earn his place back in Test cricket, now that the domestic season has ended, cont.

It doesn’t matter whether KL Rahul gets a good run in the next match or goes without troubling the scorers, these runs will only seem to be fluke and once in a blue moon kind of an innings. So, it’s better for him to shut his cynics by improving his skills and doing the hard run in the domestic circuit to shun voices accusing him of favouritism to earn his current spot.
