As a Hindi speaker, it fills my heart with immense sense of pride for the splendour of my mother tongue, its captivating history, and its invaluable contribution to the rich and diverse culture of the land of Bharat. But what anguishes my heart is the sight of hysterical and extremist politicians creating a linguistic divide and pitting Hindi and the Hindi-speaking community against the rest of Indians who live outside the Hindi heartland. Their motives are rooted in nothing but promoting their own political narrative and catering to their frivolous vote banks.
Dravidian politics: Threatening the social fabric of the nation
As a concerned citizen of the budding society, you must be aware of the profound influence that both politics and artistic expression have on society. While the former has the power to shape social dynamics, the latter serves as a conduit for the essence of these dynamics to be captured and conveyed in a meaningful way. And hence, when I come across frequent linguistic diarrhea happening in the social structure of south India, I always feel there is some serious flaw in the political structure of that society.

The statement I made in my previous commentary is not to be taken lightly, as it is a fact that I confidently stand by. And this raises a serious question. Just think why should an ordinary individual going about their daily life, whether walking on the streets, traveling on a train, waiting for a bus at a stop, or simply having a cup of tea and a smoke at a local tea stall is behaving like goon and beating up some student or a labourer or even a commoner who has migrated to the place just to feed his family on common basis.

A video depicting the very distressing situation has been circulating on social media. To my utter shock and surprise, there are some idiots who are brazenly attempting to defend the abhorrent actions. Sad! Politician down the south who call themselves flag bearers of linguistic equality and talk in length and breadth about the issue are all silent over the issue. Their hypocrisy and biased motives are all visible evidently.
A Dravidian goon is seen beating & abusing a poor North Indian guy for speaking Hindi.
People from south India also live in other states like Delhi, Gujarat but have you ever heard anything like this?

India has always faced challenges at the hands of linguistic and regional chauvinists. These cynical conflict entrepreneurs find varied reasons to sow the seeds of discord among the cohesive societies.
The most reprehensible theory of this divisiveness is the bogus Aryan-Dravidian conflict hypothesis. Unfortunately, for petty politics, Dravidian cabals have cemented this despicable falsehood even when it has been shredded into pieces through many research works.
The people trying to pit one culture against other for scoring political brownies must get their facts right. They must understand that becoming a self-proclaimed ‘fire brigade’ for your mother tongue can’t be a justification to infringe on the fundamental right of others to have a dignified life.
This hooliganism and rowdy act are an ugly culmination of vile whistleblowing or parroting of North hatred of these Dravidian despots masquerading as the flag bearers of welfare of the people of state.

People and political parties down south must understand the fact that Indian civilisation is a unique blend. It has demonstrated unity in diversity for ages and Hindi is an essential part of the vibrant tapestry of the Bharatiya culture. It is our solemn duty to staunchly defend its honour and integrity from any and all insidious forces.
Rather than working as a lumpen goons for politicians who can’t come out of identity politics, we must present a shining example of hospitality, which was repeatedly trumpeted in Maharashtra when they faced similar issues.
