Baba Garib Nath Mandir Himachal – Guide
Baba Garib Nath Mandir, built at a distance of 22 kilometers from Una in Himachal Pradesh, is seen to be scattered with unique terrace. The temple is surrounded by the Gobind Sagar Lake and hills from all sides. During the rainy season, sometimes one floor of the temple gets submerged in the water of the lake here for two to three months. Despite all this, devotees and tourists come here to pay obeisance.
History of this Temple
The history of Baba Garib Nath Mandir Himachal is said to be about 500 years old. It is said that when Sage Vyasa’s son Shukdev was born, at the same time the 84 Siddhas also took birth at different places. One of them is Siddha Garib Nathji, who was a disciple of Dattatreya. Baba Garib Nath did penance here for 40 years. It is also known as Taposthali of Baba Garib Nath. The statue of Baba Garib Nath is installed in the temple premises. Along with this, the statue of Lord Shiva of about 31 feet installed in the temple increases the beauty of the temple manifold.

Kutalhar Fort
Kutalhar Fort, also known as Fort of Sixteen Singhi, is included in the famous tourist attractions of Una. King Sansar Chandra of Kangra had built these forts, which are situated at an altitude of 4500 meters above sea level.
