Sadhguru and Mohan Bhagwat row: Left liberal cabal has hijacked the LGBTQ movement

The world with almost 7.88 billion population has diversified attributes. When like-minded people form a considerable head count, they become a community. One among the enormous communities is LGBTQ. And the matter of fact is that the community cannot be ignored as they have a growing population. Realising the fact, opportunist left-liberal cabal is using their best crooked techniques to take over the LGBTQ movement with their vicious agendas.

Homosexuality and India

Homosexuality gained prominence as a discourse in the west in 19th century. Besides, the LGBTQ rights movement started in the 20th century in many parts of the Europe and USA. In India, the first known gay rights movements started in Delhi in 1992. The discourse was only related to rights of the community, harassment under section 377 and health related issues before the left-liberal faction decided to hijack it. Their intension was not just to support the community. They actually tried to take advantage of the movement to gain publicity and set their agenda in line with the community rights.

The first prominent celebrity that stood with the LGBTQs is Celina Jaitley. According to her statement, “Probir da (her first make-up artist) was a transgender, wore a salwar kameez and fought his own battles as he rose from his middle-class roots, braving taunts of ‘hijra’. When I didn’t have money as a student in Kolkata, he would buy me lipsticks. He considered me his daughter. I wanted to gift Probir da a car for his birthday but he died three months before that. I always promised myself that I would take up the cause of gay rights when I could and that’s what I’m doing now.”

Left-liberals take over

Idoilising a transgender, Celina Jaitley stood just for gay rights. That in itself shows the depth of concern these activists have for the community.

Ayushman Khurana in his recent statement said, “It’s Unfortunate That The LGBTQ Community Is very Invisible In Our Society.” It means that there are only few that belong to LGBTQ community so the question arises is how is this unfortunate and what can be done to increase their population!

If someone wants to promote anything, it is up to their choice. But, planting propaganda in everything is a different evil altogether. In current times, almost every OTT platform is unnecessarily using a homosexual touch. In doing so, they demean heterosexuality.  Alt Balaji’s Code M is the perfect example of such a propaganda. It is based on investigation of the killing of army personnel. Out of nowhere, one of the suspects turns out to be gay and to hide his sexual preferences the protagonist does not reveal the identity of the criminal. The homosexual angle is unnecessarily forced into the storyline.

Hotstar’s City of Dreams depicts the CM of Maharashtra as a lesbian. In addition to that, Netflix’s Mismatched, Ajeeb Daastans and Amazon Prime’s Four More Shots 2 are some of the prominent shows that showcase homosexuality. In the name of joining LGBTQ to the mainstream, the left-liberal cabal is leaving no stone unturned in widening the rift between the community and rest of the society. They are working to create an anti-Hindu consensus among the LGBTQ community.

Balanced advise breaks the left-liberal narrative

The perfect example of left-liberal faction’s appeasement of LGBTQ and molding the campaign of the community for their own benefit can be decoded in recent incident of Sadhguru and Uorfi Javed. Uorfi tweeted Sadhguru’s video saying that he has a small brain.

Someone go actually teach him about nature ! pic.twitter.com/iLfsUoKNSZ

— Uorfi (@uorfi_) January 12, 2023

What Sadhguru said is different from what Uorfi is trying to propogate. According to Sadhguru, there is no need to run a campaign either against or for the community. The sex and gender are biologically determined. He also opined that people are upset about these things because a campaign is running. The effect of this campaign is the increase in the population of this community whereas biologically their population is less. In the same row RSS stalwart Mohan Bhagwat was also seen taking the side of the community by explicislty saying they deserve their rights.

So, there is an urgent need to understand the propaganda of left-liberal cabal where they are trying their best to pit the LGBTQ community against Hinduism. In one of our article at TFI we had opined that Hindus always have support for the community. But it’s sad that the narrative of the movement is being hijacked by the left-liberal cabal. And all of it is at the cost of creating anti-India and anti-Hindu resentments.
