Bollywood, or to say the Hindi Film Industry, has been an anti-Hindu industry. The industry has been Hinduphobic and with the kind of iron grip Islamists and Secularists’ have on the industry, such behaviour is ought to happen. For a very long time, Hindus have been portrayed as the evil personality, be it a seth exploiting the poor, a Brahmin being a thug or someone like Shamshera’s Shuddh Singh sucking on the blood of the helpless like a leech.
However, unlike the previous times, when the Bollywood cabal fed to the audiences whatever they wanted, the audience has evolved and have begun identifying the subtle propaganda. This is the reason why many of the recent big budget films have faced boycott calls, the recent in the firing range of the antagonised Hindus is being ‘Pathaan’.
Pathaan faces boycott calls
After the last flop Zero that King Khan delivered, he almost went into hibernation for 4 long years. Shah Rukh Khan had plans to make a grand comeback on the silver screen with much hyped Pathaan. However, with the release of the very first song, the film has stirred up controversies.
The song has angered, irritated and enraged the public and has given all the reasons for its boycott. Everything that the song comprises is being criticised, like the suggestive and erotic dance steps performed by Deepika Padukone with some calling it a bad copy of Tik Tok videos.
Another aspect that has drawn the most criticism is the saffron coloured bikini worn by Padukone, along with which Shah Rukh can be seen romancing her while donning green. Further, while the actress wears saffron bikini, the song has been named ‘Besharam Rang’.

Protest over Deepika saffron bikini
While the Netizens were busy calling for boycott of the film, the deputy Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Narottam Mishra advised the director to either correct the attire of else face troubles.
Mishra said, “The costumes used in the song are prima facie very objectionable. It is clear that this song has been filmed with a corrupt mentality. Anyway, in the JNU case, Deepika Padukone has been a supporter of the Tukde Tukde Gang. And that’s why I would request them to fix these scenes, fix this costume. Otherwise, whether this film should be allowed in Madhya Pradesh or not will be a question to be considered.”

TFI Founder has a message for all
Bollywood is a Hinduphobic industry and that stands as a fact. Another fact is that disgruntled Hindus have demolished the once invincible Khan stardom. The Indian audience is not living in a fool’s paradise anymore, it has become a content driven industry. The change has come over time. There have been boycotts, even unauthorised bans. These constant efforts have forced the woke industry to amend its ways in order to not lose the wide base of audience. The long due amendment has begun and shallow protests such that happening regarding the saffron bikini.
As said by TFI Founder, Atul Mishra in one of his tweets opined that such touch-me-not attitude will not do any good to the battle of our fight against Hinduphobia. Mishra wrote in his tweet, “Unpopular Opinion. FIR for Deepika’s Orange (Saffron) Bikini? MP Dy CM banning the lead actors? Is this the level of our outrage? I know I’m in the minority but this touch-me-not attitude will get us nowhere in our fight against Hinduphobia. It only makes us look stupid.”

What TFI Founder wishes to say here that associating the entire fight against Hinduphobia with every other issue heavily impacts the cause. If there will be mindless protests over each and every thing, the credibility of Hindus raising their voices against rampant Hinduphobia would be treated as fringe elements and the thick-skinned industry would get accustomed with it. Thus, no heed will be paid to the cause and the demands raised regarding that.
