Indian Constitution Day 2022: Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November in India. Not only do 130 crore people see their future in the Constitution, but they also work wholeheartedly for its dignity. Don’t know how many troubles this independent country has gone through for 74 years, whenever the country passed through a period of darkness, our constitution showed the light of the destination. The Constitution gave a strength to the country which was broken by the mentality of slavery for centuries. At the same time, the fundamental rights given in it become our shield and give us our rights.
Along with this, the fundamental duties given in it also remind us of our duties. Indian Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November to make people aware of the importance and history of the Constitution and to propagate constitutional values.
Let us tell you that in the year 2015, the decision was taken to celebrate Constitution Day on the 125th birth anniversary of Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. On this day Constitution Day Importance was celebrated for the first time. From this day, Indian Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November and today is 26 November 2022 and India is celebrating the Constitution Day.
The Constituent Assembly of the country duly adopted the present constitution on 26 November 1949. Although it was fully implemented on 26 January 1950. For the preparation of Indian constitution committee took 2 years 11 months and 18 days. The shaping of the constitution started with the freedom struggle. And it was formed in July 1946. There was a total of 389 members in the Constituent Assembly, in which the total number of women members was 12. Permanent President of the Constituent Assembly, Dr. Rajendra Prasad was nominated.
Special features of the Indian Constitution
Not only the beautiful provisions of the Constitution of India, but also the decoration of its original copies, makes it different from the constitutions of all the countries of the world. Let us tell you that the original copies of our constitution written in Hindi and English are kept in the library of the Parliament of India.
