Can any Hindu festival be celebrated without the interference of the fringe elements? Well, the violence that followed the Ram Navami procession this year is enough to state the situation of Hindus. As the entire nation was busy celebrating the grand festival of Ram Navami, communal violence marred the festivities in four states of the country.
From Gujarat to West Bengal, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh, Islamists tried to derail the joyous celebrations of Bhagwan Shri Ram’s arrival. The Islamists not only instigated the Hindus but also pelted stones at the Ram Navami procession. This is the scenario of every teej-tyohar, and Navaratri is no different.
From entering with fake identities to pelting stones
There is a lot of debate going on in which the left-liberal cabal, who themselves have no astha in Navaratri, are lecturing the Hindu community on how to celebrate the festival and how not to, whom to allow entry and whom not. The cabal even had advice for the organisers of mega events too; that they should check identity proofs at the entry check points at event venues.
While id-checking is continuing to ensure law and order situations, many Islamists have been held in various inappropriate situations. A man was arrested for making inappropriate comments towards girls and hiding his identity at a Garba event in Indore.
In another incident, eight Muslim youths were held by masked identities while entering the Garba event. Another incident was reported from Ahmedabad, where a Muslim man was caught filming Hindu girls. After this, the organisers went stricter and identity checks were made mandatory. After the Islamists failed in their entrapment and filming agenda, they started attacking Hindus.
After denying entry to Garba, Islamists attack Hindus
As per reports, 40 people have been arrested by Gujarat Police in the aftermath of communal clashes that took place in Vadodara. Near the vegetable market in Salvi town, an attempt was made to tie an Islamic flag to an electric pole where Hindu flags were already installed.
The Hindu community took offence at it due to the presence of a mandir nearby, Damaji na Dera, and went on to convey their objection and asked them not to install the flag as it would hurt their religious sentiments. This is when the clash broke out between the two groups.
Reports suggest that after the flag installation was asked to stop, around 100 people gathered at the spot. The mob used stones and sharp weapons to attack the private vehicles, and shops were also vandalised. The police immediately came into action and arrested around 40 people. To maintain law and order, additional forces have been deployed in the area.
In another incident, a Navratri celebration in Kheda turned into a mess after a Muslim mob pelted stones at the Hindu devotees. Revellers were attacked by Islamists in Gujarat’s Kheda district, in which six people sustained major injuries. As per Kheda superintendent of Police, Rajesh Gadhiya, “A group of people led by two men identified as Arif and Zahir entered the Navratri Garba venue and started causing trouble. They even pelted stones. ”
The stone pelting was reported in the village square where the Garba dance had been organised on the occasion of the Navratri festival and also on the approach road from a locality behind the venue, the SP further added. So far, nine people have been arrested.

The needed treatment
Garba is a sacred dance performed to worship Maa Durga. There have been various incidents reported from all over the country where Islamists either got into the pandals, filmed girls or were trying to entrap them with the aim of committing Love Jihad. When they failed to do so, they started attacking Hindu devotees. However, the police were prompt in their action.
