Doctor G box office collection day 5: Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana brings a new message for a society in each of his films. Ayushmann is one of those stars who have been giving superhit films continuously for the last 5 years. His films are a hit as well as spread awareness in the society and talk about issues which are considered taboo. Like he has made films on gay love story, transgender, sexual disorder and from racism to regionalism. Now he is seen in ‘Doctor G’ as a gynecologist. The film has made a strong opening at the box office on the first day itself. Doctor G made around Rs 1.65 crore on Day 5 and the total box office collection is just Rs 18.32 crore.
Ayushmann Khurrana is returning to the theaters after a long time. He was seen in the film ‘Anek’ at the beginning of the year. In ‘Manek’ he brought the problems of the people of North East. Prior to this, he has made people emotional by romancing a transgender girl in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. But the films did not earn much due to the Corona period. This time along with Ayushmann Khurrana, two strong actresses Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah are also in a special role on the screen.
Let us tell you that this film has been much better than the previous films of Ayushmann Khurrana. His film has an opening of Rs 3.25 crore on the very first day of its release. Whereas its earlier film ‘Anek’ had earned Rs 1.75 crore. Perhaps this film would have earned more but it would not have competed with Parineeti Chopra’s film ‘Code Name Tiranga’. The release of two films together had an impact on the business.

On Day 1 movie made ₹ 3.87 Cr, on Day 2 it earned ₹ 5.22 Cr, on Day 3 it made ₹ 5.94 Cr, on Day 4 it made around ₹ 1.64 Cr, and on Day 5 collection of Doctor G movie from box office was around ₹ 1.65 Cr.
Story of the film
The film ‘Doctor Ji’, directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, has received a great response from all the critics. Ayushmann Khurrana is seen in the role of Dr Uday Pratap in the film.
