In the last few months, Islamic radicalisation has been on a rampant rise. Violent assaults and murders in the name of religion are becoming a badge of honour for psychopaths. Hindus are being hacked to death at their will.

If you think that Islamists or more aptly to say Jihadists only harbour hate for Hindus, you are wrong. The radical Islamists are equally intolerant towards moderate Muslims as well. The recent stabbing of an individual for attending Ganpati Pujan stands in deposition for the same.

Man stabbed to death in Delhi’s Mangolpuri

In northwest Delhi’s Mangolpuri, a man was killed on September 9, while four others were injured in an incident of stabbing. As per the police, “ Around 8-9 boys attacked three boys with knives several times and because of this, one person died and two got seriously injured. All three boys are cousins and both the victims and the accused are neighbours in the block of Mangolpuri.” The deceased has been identified as Armaan and the other two who got injured are his cousins – Fardeen and Moin Khan.

After the incident all were taken to the SGM Hospital where Armaan was declared dead on arrival. So far, three accused have been apprehended.

The Ganpati connection  

While the incident has been widely reported with an angle of old enmity, the deceased father’s statement point somewhere else. Armaan’s father Mohammad Salim has claimed that he has been killed for attending Ganpati Visarjan.

He said that the accused saw the colour on his clothes from the Ganpati festival and questioned him for roaming with colours despite being Muslim and that was the reason behind his stabbing.

Elaborating about the incident Salim told the media, “Armaan had come after offering prayers, and was cleaning the bike when some of his friends took him on a Ganesh Visarjan Padyatra. Soon after he returned home, he heard some quarrels outside. He went there to intervene and resolve the matter peacefully. However, an argument broke out between him and the accused, when both Fardeen and his cousin and Armaan were also present. The accused and his brother then allegedly called their friends to attack them.”

Attacked for attending Ganpati Visarjan

Fardeen, his brother, basically reiterated what his father’s statement, “They asked me why I wasn’t offering Namaz after noticing gulaal on me. They started abusing me, this led to an altercation between us. They then took out a knife and started attacking me. I also retaliated by pushing them. Many boys from the accused’s gang gathered around us. They then stabbed my brother Armaan,”

Fardeen recounted what transpired leading to the death of his brother.

Armaan’s mother has also told the media that Armaan was always an eyesore for the Islamists, as he used to visit Akhadas and worshipped Bhagwan Hanuman.

The fear psychosis of Islamists

There have been many incidents in the last few months when the Sar Tan se Juda gang brutally attacked and killed Hindus by swords, sickle among others. Tragically, the list of Hindu victims who either suffered serious injuries or lost their lives at the hands of religious bigots is getting longer and longer.

Now, the Sar Tan se Juda gang has also started to target Muslims who are moderate, and have the potential to spill blood virtually on every street of the nation and with Islamists attacking moderate Muslims, this seems inevitable.
