Suma Kanakala is a Telugu-language television producer, actor, and presenter. She is most recognised for being the host of the female-focused game show Star Mahila. It was broadcast on ETV Telugu and was the second-longest running game show in India. Her main serials included Swayamvaram, Anveshitha, Geetanjali, and Ravoyi Chandamama. She had no desire to work in the film industry. Star Mahila on ETV, Suma’s signature programme, drew a sizable female audience. By making this show one of the longest-running women’s game shows in India, she set a record.

Her Kevvu Keka, which she co-starred in on MAA TV with Mano, was created by K. Suma Rajeev Creations.
