“Lalu Bin Chalu Ee Bihar Na Hoyi” this translates to ‘Bihar cannot be run without Lalu’. These are the words of a Bhojpuri song, shared by Lalu Yadav’s daughter. Well, these words had no relevance, as Tejashwi had lost the battle way back. But, all thanks to Bihar CM, the u-turn master Nitish Kumar, who is back at his old tricks, the RJD scion will get a second chance.
Nitish Kumar resigns as CM
‘Bihar mein Baahar Hai’, this slogan that was constantly used by Nitish Kumar, the self-proclaimed sushasan Babu, has come to an end. Nitish Kumar has resigned as the CM of the NDA government and has reportedly submitted a support letter of 160 MLAs to the Governor. Sushasan Babu is all set to repeat what he is an expert at, taking a U-turn. We at TFI had earlier predicted that the resignation of JD(U)’s former President and former Union Minister RCP Singh will decimate the JDU. And this is all set to come true, as the Bihar CM is again making his bed with Rashtriya Janata Dal. Once out of the NDA alliance, Nitish Kumar and his party are all set to taste the reality.

Nitish Kumar ditches BJP to take a U-turn
Nitish Kumar is inflicted with a disorder, the disorder of taking U-turns, and he cannot survive in an alliance for long. Janata Dal (United) has witnessed an alliance with the BJP for 17 years. However, breaking the old alliance, in June 2013, Nitish Kumar walked out of NDA. He contested the election and formed the government in alliance with Lalu Yadav’s RJD. Soon, he grew differences there also, and traced back towards BJP in 2017, hence walking out of the UPA alliance. Just after 5 years of aligning with the BJP, reportedly, Nitish Kumar is again decked up to break the NDA alliance in Bihar. Bhartiya Janata Party, meanwhile, is busy observing coalition dharma.
The NDA alliance in Bihar was always in choppy waters, as BJP’s attempt to enhance its grip in the state has not gone down well with Nitish Kumar, the man responsible for clipping wings of the saffron party.
Nitish’s plan ahead
While many are brainstorming regarding what the Bihar government will look like. We here at TFI declare that Bihar will somewhat look like the time of 2016-2017. A deal has been brokered between Nitish Kumar’s JDU and Lalu Yadav’s RJD, where the chair will remain with Nitish Kumar. Concidering the greedy person he is, this is mostlikely how the new government will look like. In the upcoming arrangement, while Nitish Kumar is all set to be the next CM, Tejashwi Yadav is all set to serve as his deputy. Reports suggest that the deal has already been brokered between the two parties.
Nitish eyes Delhi
The fact is that the RJD is the biggest party in Bihar currently, as far as numbers are concerned. While RJD enjoys the support of Yadavs and Muslims, the BJP has a loyal voter base in the Savarna and non-Yadav OBCs. This way both the forces cancel eachother out. This is how Nitish Kumar comes out to be the Kingmaker having a handful of Kurmi votes.
While he plans to take oath as the CM once again, he may hand over the chair in 2025 to Tejashwi Yadav and eye the PM chair in Delhi. Nitish Kumar’s wish to sit on the seat of power in Delhi is hidden from none, well once he takes the aforementioned step to shift to Delhi, that will be a big full stop to his political career.
