Journalism is a field driven by truth and ethics. However, in today’s world, the definition of journalism has changed entirely. Today, journalists and journalism houses stand for propagating their agenda. While Agenda-setting used to be a theory taught in media colleges, it is now the whole and soul of the profession. And BBC is the flagbearer.
BBC: London’s propaganda emitter
The British Broadcasting Corporation, popularly known as the BBC is a propaganda emitter of London that sets the narrative around the world. BBC thrives on propaganda and hence it has no shame in peddling fake narratives just to keep its propaganda going.
BBC is guilty of taking anti-India in general and anti-Hindu stand in particular. BBC has always shamelessly spread misinformation to paint an entire community with one hue. It has repeatedly accused Hindus and the BJP government of practising Majoritarianism. And the article we are referring to here is the case in point.

BBC back to its old tricks
BBC’s hate for Hindus is not hidden and the publication house from time to time keeps reminding the same. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the existence of BBC is driven by its hate for Hindus. The same was visible in a recent story published by BBC titled, ‘क्या भारत वाक़ई हिन्दू राष्ट्र बनने की ओर बढ़ रहा है?’
Throughout the article, the publication tried and attempted to accuse Hindus of pushing India into being a majoritarian state. The blame was put on the central BJP government as well. Read as I shred BBC’s ‘anti-Hindu propaganda piece’ into pieces.
BBC is a pro at pushing subtle agenda and Propaganda
While referring to India as Bharat it seems that the journalism house is aware of the Indic civilization and accepts that India was not born in 1947, but rather Bharat which today we know as India is a civilisational state. While stating that, the article subtly pushes the ‘secular’ Hindu narrative being run extensively by the left-liberal cabal, as it reads, “Is the basic fabric of India that once accepted a constitution that held secularism as a prime value, all set to change?”
The article mentions that India will soon be declared a Hindu Rashtra and the groundwork has already begun which includes changing the names of the cities based on Mughal rulers. Well, for BBC’s knowledge, the issue of changing the names of cities from Allahabad to Prayagraj, Mughalsarai to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction and Faizabad to Ayodhya was not done to change the fabric but to restore what was original.
BBC blames PM Modi for Hindutva
The article states that the feeling of Hindutva has gone up exponentially and there is a widespread demand for Hindu Rashtra. The article holds PM Narendra Modi and the BJP government responsible for the surge in demand for a Hindu Rashtra and goes on to elaborate on some signs to substantiate India’s march towards a Hindu Rashtra.

The first mention as a sign is of PM Modi’s inauguration of the Kashi Vishwanath corridor. BBC has a problem with PM Modi’s Gangasnan and donning gerua vastra during the inauguration. For the naive BBC, the inauguration was of a mandir corridor related to Sanatan Dharma and the one inaugurating it happens to be the PM of the nation, who is indeed a Hindu.
Let’s shred BBC’s agenda
No matter how much effort BBC might put to peddle its agenda criticising the BJP government, the fact of the matter is that the BJP and the advent of PM Modi have woken up the Hindus who were before 2014, living as second-class citizens in their own land. The PM of India once claimed that the minorities have the first right on the resources of India. Hindus had no one to speak for them and the atrocities against Hindus kept increasing. The advent of PM Narendra Modi acted as a renaissance for the Hindu community whose population was constantly degrading in many states.
While the Modi government has acknowledged the cultural genocide of Hindus committed for 1000s of years and initiated revival. While enriching the cultural land of India, and respecting the constitutional principles he allowed the democracy to prosper, as his government banned the subsidy on Hajj. The Modi government may be pro-India and respects the Sanatani culture of India, none can point out an anti-minority stance taken by his government. And India is the only nation-state on the entire planet which has allowed and to say, helped the minorities to grow and prosper on the Indian soil and live peacefully.
