Indian actor Tarun Kumar, usually referred to as Tharun, is well-known for his work in the Telugu cinema industry. Tarun has primarily worked in Telugu movies, but he has also appeared in five Tamil films and two Malayalam movies. Later Career
After a seven-year hiatus, Tarun played the lead role in the 2000 blockbuster Nuvve Kavali, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu that year. For his performance in the movie, Tarun also received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South.

S Chakrapani and Roja Ramani welcomed Tarun Kumar into the world on January 8, 1983 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
His mother was a well-known Telugu actress of the 1970s and 1980s, while his father was an older Oriya actor. In her first film, Bhakta Prahlada, Tarun’s mother, who was also an amateur actor, took home the National Film Award for Best Child Artist.

The Malayalam children’s movie Abhayam received positive reviews from critics and went on to win the National Film Award for Best Children’s Film in 1991.
Tarun also took home the Best Child Artist Award at the Furoshiki Film Festival in Japan. The super hits Manasu Mamatha (1990), Surya IPS (1991), Aditya 369, Teja, My Dear Muthachan, and Johny all featured Tarun as a young actor.
